Designer Beverly Hills Bright Quiet Modern Apartment - Three Bedrooms

We use Airbnb all the time when I travel. And since this is our spare place, we thought it would be great to list it here. This is a large 2000 sq foot apartment in a secured building on the second floor. It has windows on 3 sides and runs the whole length of the building, front to back. There is gated off street parking for two cars.

We just finished redecorating and completely building in new features... hardwood floors, granite and stainless steel kitchen, travertine bathrooms, new bed, and furnishings. Everything is set up and here for your comfort... except my two kitties which will stay with me at my other house.

We use this as a two bedroom apartment but in actuality it is a three bedroom apt (The office has now been converted into a full third bedroom!). We use one room as an office and there is a master bedroom and a second bedroom. If you need that extra bedroom, we can easily put in a comfortable air mattress in that office and it will work fine. There are two full bathrooms and one half guest bathroom. There is a lovely little balcony surrounded with trees which is perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxing. I have a sonos sound system which allows you to wirelessly play music in the apartments and free wireless internet of course. There is a LARGE screen TV with Netflix, and every tv channel imaginable. This is a smoke free environment... except for incense.

Our place is on a very nice quiet street just two blocks off of Wilshire. It's centrally located to everything. Prime BH shopping is a mile away, West Hollywood is down the block, Santa Monica is about 7 miles away... I ride my bike there in about 35 minutes (but I ride fast).

Please let me know if you have any questions. And if you want a really cool living situation, check out my beautiful sailboat in Marina Del Rey... I listed that too and people are loving it. Or for movie shoots, we sometimes rent out our house in the hills.

Also, if you look closely at the photos you may see a kitty walking around. He hasn't lived there in a long time, so if you're allergic, no worries.

Good luck and enjoy L.A. ~Sophie and Craig

  • This is really an awesome place! 6 of us stayed one night here and this place is exactly the same as that shown on the pics.

  • This was my first experience with Airbnb, which was really amazing. My stay exceeded my expectation. The flat is fabulous and placed in a very beautiful area. The rooms were big and clean. The beds are really comfortable.

Would recommend for any person who wants a high class stay in Los Angeles.

  • My 4 friends and i had a great stay at Craig's. Lovely, very spacious apartment on a quiet and attractive street in Beverley hills. You need a car to go everywhere in LA but even so the apartment is very well situated - 15 min walk to rodeo drive and the malls. Short taxi ride to bars on sunset strip and to Hollywood. Great value for money. Highly recommended!

  • Craig's place would be the first experience at Airbnb. We landed to LAX airport, rented a car and drove to the place. It was a nice place, actually. At Almont Drive, which is close to different centers. We checked in and first negativity occurred. Craig texted me to call him. As my phone was a foreign one, I thought he might have feared to spend 5 dollars by calling me. He helped me checking in at the phone. Everything seemed OK. But when it was time to go to bed, my 10 years old daughter began to cry because the beds were smelling. We checked and saw that the sheets and bed covers were unclean and smelling. I emailed him and he replied quickly that it will be resolved the other day. He said that we could use other sheets in the closets but they weren't better. It was like they were just folded but not washed enough. By using our towels as sheets we could hardly sleep in the beds. The other day we understood that the cleaning person came and brought one new bed and pillow sheet set. But the other bed was still as it was. The bag of the bed company of new sheets were left in the middle of the room to show us it is new. Thanks but it was just one. We also couldn't use the at least 5 years old towels and bought ourselves new ones. I asked him for the mailbox key as we ordered some online materials. He said he can not come to give the key. And at the last day I asked for a late check out 2:00 pm instead of 11:00 am. He again said no as the cleaning lady would come and prepare the apartment. It was OK, no problem with that. But before leaving the city we stopped at the apartment and checked the lobby for the online store post for the last time, and saw that no one came for cleaning the apartment. And this made me feel the unhelpful attitude of the host, stronger. And the hardwood in the corridor was so squeaky that you couldn't walk without waking the others. We found popcorn leftovers in the living room. And the cable of the local light in the bed room was dangerously broken. A child could easily touch the bare cable and be injured. I said him I could give some feedback, but he wasn't interested. So I wrote here. We paid over 1000 Euros for a week which is similar to a 4 stars nice hotel price in the city, but it was like staying at a halfhearted relative's house with smelling sheets and towels. We cleaned the house and photographed in sake of any abuse, and now I saw that the host wrote lies about us. Good luck for him and his customers.

  • Craig and Sophie's place was great! It is in the heart of Beverly Hills which was perfect for me and my colleague. The apartment was very clean and exactly as pictured. The parking space that was provided was greatly appreciated and the access to wi-fi and cable TV was fantastic. Best part was waking up in the morning and having coffee on the little balcony before heading into the office. Was very soothing. I would rent from them again in a second!

  • PROS: great quiet neighborhood, friendly owners with great artsy vibe, bright master bedroom and master bathroom with morning sunshine- great natural light in back of apartment.

CONS: dining room table has only 2 chairs, not very "bright" living area, needs more lighting in general for nighttime, IKEA and HomeDepot reno, (not "designer"), sparse furnishings in living area- On-site Laundry is one ancient coin-operated machine in a closet off the lobby.

  • Really spacious place and well-decorated - looks just like the pictures and comfortably fit our group of 6. Great location near West Hollywood, the Grove, and the Westside. Check in and out was very straightforward, and Craig was easy to access by text/phone. Highly recommended!

  • Beautiful spacious apartment. Excellent heat/AC. Safe and quiet neighborhood. Communication could have been better. The host was curt and the airbed I had requested since booking came really dirty. There were dirty dishes in the sink when we arrived. Craig did make sure to bring supplies such as soap and paper towels and toilet paper. However, 2 bathrooms did not have trash bins and one did not even have liquid soap.
