WELCOME TO PARIS!

My name is Lisa,I am a stewardess working for Air France and I am spending my time between Paris and other stop overs. When i am away i am happy to host my guests in my centrally located cosy flat. My little brothers sister will be most happy to meet you, give you the keys and offer you lots of advice,to make your stay enjoyable.

THE AREA:
Located in the historical heart of Montmartre, it is walking distance from all the main touristic sites and attractions, such as the Sacré- Cœur Church, Pigalles and Moulin Rouge; along the way you will stumble into many flea markets, antics shops, street markets and other typical Parisian bars. Just down the building, you will find 2 subway stations (Jules Joffrin and Simplon) that will bring you in approx.15 min to other Parisian highlights: Champs Elysées, Sorbonne University, Eiffel Tower, Saint Germain des Prés, the old Latin Quarter, and Jardin du Luxembourg to name a few. For city tours, you can also use buses and pay-as you-go “Velib” bikes. Those are great in the summer, park-in and out at almost a zero-cost!

The neighbourhood is cosmopolitan, dynamic, trendy and looks like a little village as portrayed in the award-winner movie "Amelie” (haven’t you already watched it?!!). It offers a lot of facilities and places to hang out (restaurants, cafés, bars, theatres): the best bakeries can be found at “Maison Landemaire”, and “Boulangerie Cousin Gerard” (2 minutes), wine shops at “Nicolas” - THE place to go for wine lovers (3 minutes), and some great French restaurants named “Antoine de Montmartre,Pulcinella,Les trios Baudets” and bars “Café des deux moulins ( Amélie de montmartre);La Piscine; Le Nord Sud ” are also in the vicinity. I have left an itinerary if you wish to give it a try.

If your next destination brings you throughout France and Europe by train (TGV, Eurostar, Thalys), it’s simple: “Gare du Nord” and “Gare de l’Est” train stations are 4 stops away on Line 4: hop on the train at Simplon subway station, and you are there in 5 minutes.

Let me know if you need additional details or if you have further questions, I’ll be happy to answer your queries.

THE FLAT IN ITSELF
Located on the 3rd floor, it is ideal for 2 guests but can accommodate easily up to 4 guests. I am not charging any fees for additional guests. It is elegantly furnished and clean (it is maintained by a professional housekeeper that comes between each guest’s stay). The flat faces a calm courtyard, and is quiet at night. And most of all, it is sunny. Although the area is quite safe, the building is secure with 2 security codes to dial to access it.

The KITCHEN is fully equipped with all facilities and tools you need to cook and treat yourself: fridge, oven, stove, cutlers and many more utensils. There is also a bar with two stools to enjoy a drink or a meal. I also hope you will enjoy my nespresso & smoothies-making machines.
The BEDROOM offers a branded and soft -double bed (160 x 200 CM) with clean and fresh linen. A large closet is also available.
The LIVING ROOM includes one sofa that turns itself into a king size bed suited for additional 2 guests (160 x200 cm,), one diner table plus chairs and an ancient desk. Hi Fi radio are available. WIFI connection is free.
The BATHROOM is clean and large, and has been entirely refurbished in teck wood in 2012. There is a bathtub, and you will be provided with clean towels and a hygiene kit (shampoo, soap).

I have the pleasure to leave for my guest a guide book of Paris as well as a recommendation list of nearby restaurants, shops, bars etc.

Check in/out times are normally set at 15H/11H but I am flexible as I too travel a lot and know that many guests are sometimes tired after a long journey. Drop me an email if you want to check in/out at different time slots.

  • We really enjoyed our stay in Paris and Lisa's apartment was perfectly located that made it easy for us to see and do everything we wanted. Lisa was also very friendly and easy to communicate with, quickly getting back to us with answers to our questions. The apartment is comfortable and ideally suited for two people (we were a bit crowded with a family of four, given that our kids are now teenagers). The beds were very very comfortable. I think I had some of my best sleeps in Paris! Thanks for your hospitality Lisa!

  • I spent three night in Lisa's flat both for a week-end in Paris and professional reasons.

    - The apartement:
The place was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Nice interior. It was perfect to take a rest before going out. Lisa provided towels, coffee, tea etc. The bed is very comfortable.

    - The location:
The location was also great: near to metro line 4, in a pleasant area (18e). You will find a lot of grocery stores with organics products, and welcoming coffee bars/cafes (especially "L'Atelier Jules Café").

    - Communication:
It was really easy to communicate with Lisa. She was ready to help, welcoming and she answered really quickly.

I would definitely stay here again. I think it is the best value and the lowest price for a flat in Paris. Thanks!

  • Lisa is very nice and responds to all requests right away. The apartment is well located.

    March 2014
  • LISA WAS VERY HELPFUL DURING OUR STAY AND WE HAD A VERY COMFORTABLE AND GOOD TIME!

    February 2014
  • Hello ! Lisa is a wonderful host that i highly recommend ! Easy going , smooth communication and clean .If i could rate her more than 5 stars i would do it !

  • Definitely amazing pictures, wich makes the appartement look better then for real. For real it is a nice place, but a bit more studenthouse then you will notice on the pics... Specially the kitchen.

But I have to admit; nice interior, location is great, the apartement building looks really 'Paris' to me with his great stairhouse, tiles, windows, alleys, good Wi-Fi connection and Lisa has a good bed to get our rest. At saturday eve it was noisy at the neighbours, but the other days it was quiet even for being in such a place in this big city.

Remind; parking your car is almost IMPOSSIBLE in the street, you have to go to a garage. We paid 32 euros a day (small car was 24 euro). The brother of Lisa was willing to help me find a better place, but we couldnt find anything else.

The coffee machine wasn't there :-( but there was nice tea :-)
I havent met Liza, so cant tell anything about that. But I left my keys and her friend found them, still waiting to get them back, but Im sure I will receive them these days. So dont worry about their honesty.

    Response from Lisa:

I am glad that you enjoyed the apartment, the location and the services! Unfortunately, the week end of your visit was a very busy week here in Paris, with a fashin week where you went in vellepent going on, and it’s therefore very difficult to find a parking spot. Otherwise, parking in the neighborhood is not an issue. I have provided you a list of cheaper garages& the best streets to park but you have not checked out before your trip. You must have missed the coffee machine, it was in the last drawer of the kitchen! I am relieved that you happened to be a tea drinker
J and txs for acknowledging our honesty, we sent you the keys the minute you informed us of their loss

  • Anyone thinking about staying in Paris needs to stay at this flat! I went with my husband and my 2 kids ( 12 & 7 years old) and had an amazing time. As incredible as the city is, we almost didn't want to leave the flat. The place was perfect. Very clean and stylish. As for the location, you couldn't ask for anything more. A great little street, in a central location. A short walk to Pigalles and Sacre Coeur and any other sites you would want to see. Lisa was the best host as well! She greeted us with a Bordeau wine. The entire stay, she and Yan were available at all times to help us in any ways we needed if anything came up. They helped us with suggestions on restaurants, must seen in the city etc. LIsa is exactly what airbnb needs more of. I honesty couldn't say enough about this place. If I were able to give more than 5 stars I would! Fabie From NYC

  • This flat is absolutely unsuitable for 4 persons. The Sofabed in the Main room is bowed so that Both Head and feet hang down. Cutlery and tableware is unsufficient. The flat is difficult to get warm. It was moist and unpleasant for the First 24 hours. And no help Provided neither from Lisa Not bnb. We didn't feel comfortable and it was embarassing for me who invited my adult son and his girl Friend. The moisture in the Acryl Painted bedroom was Running down the Walls. Paris was nice, this flat Not. And WE had 3 better ones before

    Response from Lisa:

    Hello Detlef,
You arrived late in Dec 29 for the NEW Year Eve,for 2 nights parting with your 3 friends. Firstly , i feel sorry if you haven't found cutlery and you have not manage with the diner table and chairs. Moreover , once you arrive i do remember that you have not found the heater behind the door in the room : i dont know what to say .
Me and my friend have called you once you contact us.Winter time you turn on the heater in every rooms, dont you ?
The extra sofa bed in the living is a really confortable bed for 2, valuable bed for 2 : no one before you guys, complained on the quality of it
In the bedroom , it is not acryl painted running down but water if you dont warm the room it is not the same
Again, i feel sorry for your 2 nights experience here but i know that my guests enjoyed their stay ;) cheers

  • The flat was very good and suitable for families. you will find all you need inside the house. Lisa was so helpful from the start since it is our first time in Paris. When we arrived, Yann was so kind and assist us in almost all our needs- thanks for that!
