Interaction with Guests
Guest interaction is limited due to this being an apartment, not a room in the main lodge area. There is no breakfast included as it has its own kitchen facilities.
We are in the heart of the Mt Washington Valley with easy access to restaurants, shopping, swimming, skiing, hiking etc..
Terrific- space had everything we needed, was clean and hosts Cheryl and Miguel were very both very nice and helpful
We had a lovely time at the Gun-Ho Lodge this past weekend. Miguel was away on a sailing trip, but Cheryl was a wonderful host - so friendly and welcoming. She was knowledgeable about the area and provided several great recommendations for areas to visit and restaurants to eat at. The little apartment itself is adorable, and very comfortable - we were very pleased with the amenities, and it was so clean. If we are back in the area in the future, I'd absolutely consider staying here again. Thank you, Cheryl!
We j'ai a wonderful Time!! Really great apartment, it was clean ans exactly what we needed for our stay near Mt Washington:). Cheryl and Miguel were the perfect hosts, allways there if we needed information or anything. I would recommend them without any hesitation and would definitely come back on my next stay in the region
We had a wonderful time. Miguel was away, but Cheryl met us on arrival and ensured that we had everything we needed. She even helped us cook some steaks we brought with us (some high quality cuts we didn't want to through out), which we ate upstairs on the veranda in bucolic surroundings. The next morning Cheryl prepared delicious fruit salad, coffee, and banana bread that set us up for our day's pandering to our son's every whim at Storyland!
Thank you Cheryl and Miguel! What a great spot! A cabin feel close to everything. Wonderfully clean and comfortable. We loved it!
The apartment is well located and furnished. Cheryl and Miguel are very warm and friendly. We truly enjoyed the yummy pumpkin and cinnamon cake that Cheryl baked and gave us on the day of our arrival.
Cheryl and Miguel are great hosts. We arrived very late in the evening, and they gave us directions over the phone very patiently. They also gave us good tips on where to go and where to eat. We followed their advice and spent two amazing days in the area. The apartment is neat, very clean, and has its own style. Actually the entire house is very charming! Location of the house/apartment is very good as well - just a few minutes' drive to everything you need. The only thing we hope can be better is the noise coming from top of the bedroom in the morning. The apartment is on the ground/base floor of the house. If someone gets up early in the morning and move around in the living room, it could be a bit disturbing to people who stay in the apartment. But overall we enjoyed out stay in Cheryl and Miguel's place. We will definitely recommend to friends who plan the same trip to White Mountains.

About the Host, Cheryl & Miguel
Originally from Boston, Ma., we have traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and abroad before settling in North Conway, N.H. in 2004. Our interests range from travel, sailing, kayaking, hiking and basically outdoor activities of all kinds. Cheryl is an avid reader with a psychology background and is happy in the galley preparing great meals. Miguel is a "hands on" person with a construction background from climbing industrial chimneys to project managing communication network installs at Kennedy Space Center. For the past 15 years our main interest has been sailing our 32' Down East cutter rig sail boat in the Caribbean, and traveling where and when we can by land, air, or sea. Meeting and getting to know people and their cultures and customs as we travel is the greatest gift we can give ourselves.
