Welcome to our bungalow,

We are located on a quiet dead end road that backs up to the beautiful and diverse Shacket Creek. View the water from your outdoor sitting area or enjoy the area with kayaks and bikes that we provide during your stay.

Centrally located 5 minutes aways from I-75 and Tamiami Trail, an 8 minute drive to the closest beach and a 20 minute drive to the famous Siesta Key.

The space

Our adorable rustic bungalow is a step up from glamping and the perfect space for your next relaxing getaway.

The room is small and simple but has everything you need with a full size bed, a/c unit, small sitting table, smart TV connected to wifi, a coffee bar with a mini fridge and a full bathroom. The bathroom does not have a door but a curtain to offer more privacy. Decorated in warm tones it has lots of character with wood accents inside and out. Outside is a small shaded table for two to enjoy the Gulf breeze where smoking is allowed.

We include two single person kayaks with access to the small community boat ramp which is situated on the opposite side of the property. Two people can easily carry one kayak but there is a kayak cart too. We also provide two adult road bikes for your use, the beach is a short ride from the house as is downtown Venice.

Florida does have an abundance of wildlife. We have squirrels, opossums, raccoons, birds and rabbits that sometimes come through our yard. We also have insects, especially in the rainy season. They are attracted to light so make sure to keep the doors, windows and blinds closed at night.

The Guidebook provided through Airbnb has my recommendations for what to do and where to eat while staying with us.

One thing to note is the shower is compact, so it will be a tight squeeze for anyone over 5'10 but worth the unique stay.
