Cheryl and Miguel's place is a charming ski lodge close to town, set among trees at the end of a residential street, and beautifully decorated with a collection of items from world travels. It is conveniently located, immaculate, and very comfy, (It is clean, convenient, and comfy.) Our hosts were there during our stay, and we really enjoyed their company. Cheryl made us a fantastic breakfast (fresh fruit salad with yogurt and granola, plus her home-made banana bread) before she left to drive a school bus, and Miguel served us and made sure we had everything we could want. We had a good time at the Gun Ho Lodge!

We absolutely loved our stay with Cheryl and Miguel. They are amazing hosts and made us very comfortable in their beautiful home, the Gun-Ho Lodge. We stayed for two nights and it felt like staying with friends you know for years. They also served a fabulous breakfast which my husband and I greatly enjoyed. The Gun-Ho Lodge is an awesome place to stay at when visiting the White Mountains. We hope to stay there again on our next visit to the area.

Cheryl & Miguel were amazing hosts! I lost reception and wasn't able to communicate our arrival but they were super gracious and flexible! They also served the most delicious breakfast and were super knowledgeable about the area. They gave great recommendations and were all around fantastic hosts. The beds were firm so we slept soundly and the house was tucked away in a quiet neighborhood minutes drive from the main drag! I highly recommend staying with them!

From the moment we arrived we felt at home. Cheryl and Miguel are such lovely people that we felt like we were staying with friends rather than being paying guests. We stayed for two nights and had homemade waffles fruit and cream for one breakfast and on the second day a tasty cheese and vegetable quiche with pumpkin bread which was delicious. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend their lovely cosy home as a great place to stay

Cheryl & Miguel User ProfileCheryl & Miguel is a superhost.

Originally from Boston, Ma., we have traveled extensively throughout the U.S. and abroad before settling in North Conway, N.H. in 2004. Our interests range from travel, sailing, kayaking, hiking and basically outdoor activities of all kinds. Cheryl is an avid reader with a psychology background and is happy in the galley preparing great meals. Miguel is a "hands on" person with a construction background from climbing industrial chimneys to project managing communication network installs at Kennedy Space Center. For the past 15 years our main interest has been sailing our 32' Down East cutter rig sail boat in the Caribbean, and traveling where and when we can by land, air, or sea. Meeting and getting to know people and their cultures and customs as we travel is the greatest gift we can give ourselves.
