The Space

Beautiful 2 room apartment with one bedroom (email hidden) bed, a new bathroom and a living room with a fully equipped kitchen and a sofa which also can be made in to a 140cm wide bed. Everything is newly renovated in a cosy yet modern loft style with some rough walls and some new ( see the pictures ). The apartment is situated in a wonderful area ( see the pictures ) and also has a great view. I live in the building, so you can always reach a helping hand on your holiday, feel free to ask. I will especially take good care of recieving you and I will help you carrying your luggage up as the apartment is situated on the 5th floor. The apartment is new cleaned when guests arrives. There is of course clean sheets and fresh towels and I will help you with your laundry. Of course there is also free wifi - internet in the apartment.

  • The place looks and feels like exactly as shown on the photos. The patio is a perfect place for kids - we stayed with our 5 year old daughter and she really enjoyed it. Moreover Nørrebro is a cozy and central area of Copenhagen and you'll find bars, snacks and playgrounds within a walking distance. The hosts are very kind and helpfull too - I can truly recommend this apartment!

  • Helen is a great host, she was very helpful. The apartment is cozy and location is just perfect! Lively area, very close to the city center - within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it to everyone.

  • Ellen is a lovely host. Very friendly and willing to give help/advice when asked. I enjoyed getting to know a bit more about Denmark through our chatting. The apartment is nice and private with most everything you need in a kitchen. (We did somehow manage to blow a fuse though, after which the stovetop worked but not the oven... Hopefully it is fixed) Bed is comfy. It is a very nice set-up. We are very glad we stayed here and would definitely recommend it.
The stairs are not for the faint-hearted. There are two sets of stairs - one with a private entrance, and one that shares the entranceway with Ellen. The "private" stairway has not been renovated (its a very tight spiral staircase) and since the building was older, it was musty and even a bit moldy. If you strongly react to mold, you should be aware of this. You can always take the other stairway, which is mold/must free and also not so dizzying.

  • we spent one wonderful week in Copenhagen. The weather was rainy most of the time and that is why we spent quite some time in the apartement and we got to know it better:) it is very cozy and as nice as it seems on the pictures. It is well equiped and the location is fantastic. City centre is reachable by foot, however we recomend you to rent a bike, therefor you will be able to visit every interesting place in the city without any complications (public transport is very expensive).
Ellen is a great host, she helped us with any information we needed and made us feel welcome in Copenhagen.

  • Ellen was a great host. She and her family were really friendly and helpful in answering any questions we had about directions/ Copenhagen. We stayed in her apartment for a month and it felt comfortable and homely- the building itself and surrounding courtyard was cute, beautiful and typical Copenhagen. Ellen went out of her way to do some shopping for us before we arrived. The apartment is in a very happening area of Copenhagen and staying here gave us a really nice feeling for the city. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Ellen!
