This is a gorgeous little cottage in a quiet part of Galicia - close to several lovely beaches. It is very well set up and perfectly equipped to cook, to relax, to sit and reflect while looking out over the garden with a glass of wine in hand. We made good use of the bbq and the swinging chair! Some rain didn't hamper our experience as the house was the perfect place to be. Renate is incredibly kind, friendly, welcoming and helpful. A unique, highly recommended place to stay.
Despite our early arrival, Renate met us at the casita and welcomed us kindly with empanadas and a drink as well as good, local fountain water. She also took the time to tell us suggested sights in the area, which we appreciated. The house was adorable and very relaxing. We enjoyed sitting on the porch swing, and being able to prepare our own meals and use the barbecue (which Renate also supplied charcoal for). She emailed us to check that all was ok during our stay. Kitchen had the tools we needed for coffee and other meals. Beautiful setting! Enjoyed our stay.
This is one of the nicest places you could stay to enjoy the Spanish countryside. Renate gave clear directions and was there to welcome us with food and wine. I loved the little house which has everything that we needed. It was well equipped, clean and lovely. In addition is the surrounding gardens- with many different seating areas. A BBQ area and a little steam. Perfect.
There are so many beautiful beaches to explore in this area and restaurants within a 5/10 min drive.
I thoroughly recommend this listing and hope to return.
Renate, our host was extremely helpful in all ways and greeted us with a complimentary bottle of wine and other gifts. The cottage is small but has everything one needs. It is set within a farming community and guests will experience everything that goes with that. Parking is within the property and shopping is easy at nearby market town. Very economic and exactly as described. We enjoyed our stay of 5 nights.
