This apartment used to be my home and as a result what you get is not just a bland space but a well designed layout with quality fittings and a feeling of tranquillity that will make your stay in London a special one.

The apartment is located in a quiet tree-lined street just two minutes walk from the tube. Situated in Zone 1 you are ideally located to be able to walk to most of the major tourist sites. Also with so many tube, train, bus and bike alternatives – it couldn’t be easier to get around.
The apartment is in a Victorian Terrace. A communal hall leads to the apartment's private entrance on the ground floor.
The morning sun streams into the living room at the front of the property. When the sightseeing gets too much you will find here, for your entertainment, a 32” HD flat screen TV, Virgin Media Tivo and a large selection of DVDs and books. There is also free highspeed WiFi throughout the property.
The bedroom has a double bed with a new Ergoflex memory foam mattress for a restful and comfortable sleep. Also there is a flat screen TV with UK Freeview and walk-in wardrobe - so plenty of space for all of your luggage!
The bathroom at the rear of the property is tiled with Italian mosaics. There is a walk-in shower with hand attachment and under floor heating which is great on a cold morning!
The architecturally designed kitchen comes fully equipped with everything to make your stay feel like home. There is a washer/dryer, dishwasher, fan oven, microwave combi oven, ceramic hob, and lots of crockery and cooking equipment. Also here is a glass-topped dining table with four chairs and a small sofa.
Entered through the French door at the rear of the kitchen you'll find the quiet oasis in a busy city. Ideal for a barbecue/grill on a summer's night. There is a decked seating area and astroturf meadow kept under control by our South African beaded sheep!

THE LOCAL AREA
If you study a map of London you’ll appreciate how central Waterloo is, however it’s also so peaceful. The local area is very safe and walking around is a must to truly appreciate it. Within a couple of minutes you’ll be in Lower Marsh, site of one of London’s oldest continuous street markets and always busy during weekday lunchtimes. At the end of the market stands the Old Vic theatre, one of London’s best known theatres now under the artistic direction of Kevin Spacey. Further down the road are the Young Vic rep theatre and a selection of fantastic restaurants and bars.
We are well served by local shops. There are a couple of cash machines (ATMs) within a few minute’s walk as well as Post Office, bank, supermarkets, organic grocer, coffee bars and bakeries.

Tim met us upon arrival and showed us the flat. He took the time to answer all our questions and was prompt to reply to our emails - fantastic communication. Location of the flat was great, close to the tube which we used for the entire week. Thank you Tim for your generous hospitality.
My stay at Tim’s place was really nice.
Tim is nice, easy to communicate with and ready to help.
His apartment was clean, it is comfortable and centrally located, really convenient for a short stay in London.
For all these reasons I would be pleased to stay again at Tim’s apartment and I definitely feel to recommend it.
Tim was perfect host, and the flat was as cute as described. The area is very convenient without being in the Central Old part of London. A perfect home away from home. We would go back anytime (if available).
Tim was a fantastic host! He welcomed me in person and provided all the necessary details of the apartment which by the way, was PERFECT. If you are looking for a clean, restful, comfortable space with all of the amenities (full kitchen, WiFi, television, washing machine/dryer, etc.), this is the place for you! Great location with just a quick walk to the tube, near The Cut/OldVic, lots of shops, restaurants, coffeehouses and Waterloo (there's a great taco truck on the waterfront too!) I enjoyed my days out and restful nights in after a long day. This apartment has everything you need and did I mention it was clean and peaceful? I highly recommend this apartment. Excellent value and location. Oh, and nothing like a piping hot shower after a cold/windy day exploring London! (Seriously, no shortage of hot water) Thanks Tim for the apartment and hospitality!!
Tim is a nice and helpful host and the appartment is great:spacious, light, tranquil and nicely located. Highly recommended!
Tim, beautiful owner. The apartment very cozy, in a fine place. Very close to all sights. The best recommendations.
Tim was very polite and kind. We arrived late but he greeted us well.
He prepared welcome wine, snacks, some milk, juice, bread and jam for us because of our late arrival.
The house was clean and had everything we needed. The hot shower and warm floor was very good. The list book of the house and London that Tim made for guests was a great help. The house located at first floor was great for us. He also hold on to our luggage the last day. There is a no doubt this is Goood house for travelers.

I'm a New Zealander that came across to London when I was in my 20's never left! It's a great place to live and enjoy exploring the ever changing cityscape. I'm currently a freelance IT consultant.
I love to travel have been many places over the years for both business and pleasure. If I had to some of my favourites I'd say the Nordic countries, and South Africa (where my partner is from).
I look forward to helping to ensure that you also fall in love with London.
I'm a keen runner and if you are as well then you'll appreciate the variety of magnificent routes straight out the front door of the studio.
