The apartment is in a Victorian Terrace. A communal hall leads to the apartment's private entrance on the ground floor.
The morning sun streams into the living room at the front of the property. When the sightseeing gets too much you will find here, for your entertainment, a 32” HD flat screen TV, Virgin Media Tivo and a large selection of DVDs and books. There is also free highspeed WiFi throughout the property.
The bedroom has a double bed with a new Ergoflex memory foam mattress for a restful and comfortable sleep. Also there is a flat screen TV with UK Freeview and walk-in wardrobe - so plenty of space for all of your luggage!
The bathroom at the rear of the property is tiled with Italian mosaics. There is a walk-in shower with hand attachment and under floor heating which is great on a cold morning!

At the end of the market stands the Old Vic theatre, one of London’s best known theatres now under the artistic direction of Kevin Spacey. Further down the road are the Young Vic rep theatre and a selection of fantastic restaurants and bars.
We are well served by local shops. There are a couple of cash machines (ATMs) within a few minute’s walk as well as Post Office, bank, supermarkets, organic grocer, coffee bars and bakeries.

Everything was perfect and just as Tim described it. We had a great stay. The underfloor heating was exactly what we needed during the cold spell. We would definitely stay here again without a moment's hesitation.
Everything was perfect! Tim is really a perfect host ! The flat is fully equipped, very cosy and nothing was missing
This was our first Airbnb experience and it was great! We had a lovely stay at Tim's apartment near Waterloo. The location was convenient and the apartment was well equipped with all necessities as well as breakfast basics, chocolates and a bottle of wine. We met Tim about half way into our stay as he was overseas at the time so his friend Denis checked us in. Both were very professional, accommodating and friendly. The apartment itself is in a lovely street and is very comfortable and clean. It is modern with a bedroom, kitchen, dining/sitting area, bathroom and separate tv room. The bed was comfortable and the wifi worked well. It is about a 5 minute walk to Lambeth North tube station and a 10 minute walk to the London Eye/Southbank. We would stay here again when we return to London.
A great stay was had at Tim's gorgeous apartment near Waterloo. Apart from the location being unbelievably convenient and very central, the apartment itself had everything I needed for my stay. I felt right at home immediately and very comfortable. Tim was so accommodating, professional, and so friendly throughout the process and even had breakfast food in the apartment for me to have! I can't recommend this apartment enough, and Tim also!!
Tim was a most welcoming host, leaving basics and wine in the fridge and fresh flowers on the table. The apartment is modern and extremely comfortable, in a row of attractive Victorian terraces, all decorated with flower beds and window boxes, in contrast to many of the housing estates around. The location is ideal as it is so close to the underground and the West End. We would definitely stay again.
This was our first Airbnb experience and it really was fantastic! Tim's apartment was just as the pictures show, and located a few minutes to a Tube station so we were able to easily go anywhere within the city although you were able to walk to most sites within 30 minutes or less. Tim was a gracious host and we loved staying at his place. If we return to London, we would not hestitate to stay at Tim's place again. Thanks Tim!

About the Host, Tim
I'm a New Zealander that came across to London when I was in my 20's never left! It's a great place to live and enjoy exploring the ever changing cityscape. I'm currently a freelance IT consultant.
I love to travel have been many places over the years for both business and pleasure. If I had to some of my favourites I'd say the Nordic countries, and South Africa (where my partner is from).
I look forward to helping to ensure that you also fall in love with London.
I'm a keen runner and if you are as well then you'll appreciate the variety of magnificent routes straight out the front door of the studio.
