The Blue Ridge passenger train stops by daily here to let people off and enjoy the town.

Lives in Atlanta, Georgia
I'm a business owner in Atlanta GA and needed a get-a-way to decompress after dealing with the hustle and bustle of city life, So me and the wife visited a good friend and his family at their cabin 20 years ago and was so in love with his place we said if any one of these cabins on this river come available please let me know immediately. Well, 15 years later one was about to go on the open market. Needless to say we swooped in before a realtor was even called and offered more than what was being asked for it. We had 3 other buyers wanting our deal to fall thru but luckily it all worked out and we now get to enjoy the sheer awesomeness of this cabin and also the many outdoor activities available in this area. Our favorite activities are fishing, tubing, rafting, hiking, exploring & sitting on the deck looking at the sparkling river. Even in the winter, there is still so much to do, but one we love best is just sitting on the upper deck chairs or the sofa downstairs, drinking hot Irish coffee and watching the river flow by on a Saturday morning after a hard week of work. What therapy! I always enjoy driving up here from the south and seeing the first set of Blue Ridge Mountains on the skyline, just makes you take that long awaited exhale -- like you're finally at home again. Guess I'm a mountain man after all. We are extremely grateful to own a place like this so much so that we offer it up to the lucky people who invest in a vacation unlike any other. Ya'll come on over here and enjoy a slice of PARADISE!
