  • We had the fortune of staying in two of Joyce's listings, as she had to lease the first place to someone else. For the inconvenience, Joyce had prepared and bought for as lots of yummy French goodies (eg.cheese, bread, jam) for our arrival at the second place which was so nice! Joyce was very responsive and nice to deal with and we thoroughly enjoyed our stays at her places. I would recommend them to anyone (probably more for couples) that wants something different to the usual hotel experience and wants to see what it's like to live like the French!

    1. Champs Elysées Apartment
    PROS:
    - 5-10 minute walk to Champs Elysées
    - Homely, cosy feel to apartment
    - Quiet neighbourhood
    - Restaurants, cafe, shops all at the doorstep
    - Apartment had all amenities that my husband and I needed for our 9 day stay
    CONS:
    - Apartment on 4th level with no lift access, so wouldn't recommend for anyone with any physical difficulties!
    - Although nicely furnished and laid out, we would've felt pretty cramped if we were there for full 4 weeks
    - Everywhere is generally extra costly due to being near/on Champs Elsyées
    - This isn't anyones fault, but wanted to mention it incase someone else ends up in this position! Joyce sent her housekeeper to meet us when we first arrived to give us the keys. We waited for an hour for the housekeeper and tried contacting her but she would say one word then hang up on us. After finding a hotel nearby and getting the manager to talk to her, turns out we were at the wrong building! So this is just as much our fault (or rather the taxi driver) but the situation was made harder because we couldn't talk to the housekeeper - so if you're told you will be meeting with her make sure you know a french word or two.

    2. House Terrace 2 bdrs Heart Marais
    PROS:
    - Gorgeous, parisian terrace which was nicely furnished and felt very authentic
    - 3 rooms across 3 levels so not your average holiday stay!
    - In an awesome location, with lots of cheap food, drink, shops and museums near by
    - RER station 5 minute walk away, which can give you access to every other paris attraction
    - great internet access
    - well setup kitchen with latest appliances
    - cute bath alcove on master bedroom

    CONS:
    - 3 story terrace = 1 very narrow spiral staircase to get to each level. Again, not for anyone with any physical issues
    - No sound proofing. My husband would work from living area on bottom floor and it felt like he was right next to me on top floor!
    - We were here for about 3 weeks and about 4/5 out of 7 nights there was incredibly loud club music, which would start at about 1.00am and last until 6/7.00am. We wouldn't have minded the odd night but this happened almost every night we were there!

  • The apartment was perfect for our two week stay and provided a central location to so many great restaurants, convenient metro stops, shopping and more. It was well appointed, clean and is exactly as advertised...no surprises or disappointments.

Joyce was great to work with through the whole experience and very responsive to all of our questions. Providing her guests with a great experience is clearly very important to her and it shows.

  • We stayed at joyce's apartment for a month , it was a really good stay beyond expectations . When we arrived it was clean , the apartement was well arranged , and the decoration gave it a cosy atmosphere . Most importantly the location is very central it's near everything , it's 5 minutes away from the champs eleysse through rue washington . There is 2 near metro stations and a bus station really near . This was our first time to book an apartement online but it was a really positive experience , the timings and the dates were acurate . Joyce was welcoming ,friendly and helpful . There is also in the apartment lots of useful guides for exploring paris we used lots of them , there is also wifi . And we will definetly stay there again next time we come to paris . Thank You Joyce.

  • I loved staying in Joyce's place. It was super clean when I arrived.
The flat is in the best possible location in Paris. It was beyond my expectation. I would not hesitate to stay there again when I'm in Paris!

    Thank You Joyce!

  • We are a family of four and very happy with the apartment and look forward to rent from Joyce again on our next trip to Paris. The location is great walking distance to metro stops and Champs Elysees. It was a much better decision for us to stay there than in a hotel, because we had a kitchen with all the needed equipment and utensils, bed room and a living room with a pull out sofa. There is no A/C but the weather was great and we didn't need it. Thanks Joyce!

  • I have been at Joyce's apartment with my husband and my daughters (of 8 and 5 years) and we had a wonderful time. The apartment has all comforts and is very central. Joyce has been very kind and she was always available by phone and emails. We really enjoyed it!

  • This is a great place. Amazing location, Joyce is very kind, and the location has easy access to the Champs Elysees.

The restaurant below the flat is a great local spot, and the sesame crusted goat cheese salad is life changing. :)

The only drawback we would have is that there is a 60 euro charge for using linens. We ended up bringing our own, but wouldn't hesitate to staying here again.

  • Joyce was nice, accommodating and helpful.

Unfortunately we had to find alternative accommodation on the first night which meant we lost a day messing around which was not ideal. The apartment was not available due to unforeseen circumstances.

However, once in the accommodation there was no problem at all. Great location and good facilities.

  • I am pleased to say that my family is fully satisfied regarding our stay and with interactions with Joyce. Before we booked the apartment Joyce was very responsive on e mail. She replied almost instantly to our queries.

Her apartment is very nice and comfortable. It has pleasant ambience. Location of apartment is very good and it is located in a very neat and clean spacious area of Paris. We could eaily go on foot to Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees. One can take Metro/Bus/Taxi to virtually any area of Paris from her place. It has necessary equipments and utensils in kitchen, television and wi-fi, running hot and cold water.

However, while booking the apartment one must consider its small size. It is appropriate for a couple with two little kids. We had two grown up children and we felt little bit squeezed. WC and Bath room are also very small.

Keeping these points in mind one can book the apartment of Joyce without any hesitation.

    Thanks Joyce and AirBNB.
