House in the country only minutes from downtown Sonoma by car (probably too far to walk). Your suite is an independent section of the main house with private entrance. It includes a spacious living room with king sized hide-a-bed couch and a foam memory mat for more comfort, a private bedroom with queen bed, private bathroom and fully equipped kitchenette (including coffee, tea, milk, chips, energy bars, popcorn and excellent water from a deep well). Satellite TV with DVD/VCR with a limited selection of movies. Wi-fi ready and plenty of parking.
It is total country with a view of magnificent sunrise and sunsets. An excellent place for a run and for a quiet night-sleep. Bikers, check out (website hidden) for a great high-end bike rental. (We're related to the owner).

This is a private section of a large country house. It would be courteous to the family living on the other side if you would keep the noise down after 10:00 p.m.
Please don't smoke in the house - which is pretty standard all over the entire state of California.
No other "house rules" but just think about what would a reasonable person do.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in Sonoma. The setting of this home is so peaceful and serene. Diana's parents were quite delightful and made us feel very welcome.
We were greeted by our hosts upon arrival. The house was clean and nice, and the part of the house we were renting was private and well stocked for any of our needs. We loved our hosts, as they were so nice to us and our baby Olive. We even went out and watched the meteor shower late into the night with a bottle of wine. We loved the house, and our hosts. Thank you both so much for making our trip special!
I've stayed at a lot of BnBs/hostels/motels/hotels over the last 4 years, but never ever have i come across a host as hospitable as Ligia(Diana's mom)....Right from the time i called her up to inform her that we were checking in a few hours early to the time we checked out, she made sure that we had an extremely comfortable stay. In fact we felt that we were part of their family.
The property is in the Sonoma country side, exactly what we were looking for which boasted of the most tranquil of weathers imaginable. The fridge was stocked with milk, butter, cheese and the kitchen with snacks and coffee which made for a very quick snack. We(4pax) were given a bedroom and a living room which was not only cost and extremely clean but also extremely spacious and well maintained.
If anyone's coming down to Sonoma i would highly recommend this place.
A few extra points owing to the close proximity to a few good nature trails as well.
It is no overstatement to say that this was one of the most positive AirBnB experiences I have ever had!
We were made to feel so welcome during our stay and the hospitality provided by Li and Don was incredible. The quality of the accommodation was extremely high, clean and comfortable, and we felt right at home.
I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Sonoma wouldn't have been the same without it!
My little family which consists of my Husband Josh and my 6 month old son Max stayed here for 5 nights. We were welcomed by a smiling grandmother of 16, Li, and her sweet husband (website hidden) and Don were very accommodating to us they even provided us with a pack and play for Max to sleep in. They offered to make us breakfast so we took them up on it on the last day of our (website hidden) made delicious scrambled eggs, toast, bacon and fruit. The house was perfect for our needs. One bedroom with a double bed, our pack and play, a bathroom with a shower (no tub) which was a little tricky to bathe Max but we made it work, a living room where we could stretch out whileMax took his naps and a kitchenette witha mini refrigerator to store snacks and (website hidden) and Don also provided milk and granola for the morning this was stored in the kitchenette also with a few essentials like salt pepper, olive oil plates and utensils. The house is about a 7 minute drive into downtown Sonoma but a bit too far to walk.
This was our 2nd time staying at Diana and Li's place. It is very nice. We have two babies and we were able to separate them, so they slept good. The little kitchenette is perfect and Li is very sweet. The land and view is just exceptional and so beautiful. We will definitely keep this on our favorite lists. Thank you! Oh and the fresh milk and cheese's in the frig were yummy and little Makenzie sure liked the fruit snacks she found.
Li and her husband were wonderful hosts. Shortly after we arrived they came over and welcomed us. We felt every comfortable in there home. The property was beautiful and everything was just how they explained in the (website hidden) even called us to let us know we left some stuff in the bathroom. I went for a walk in the morning and felt very safe in the neighborhood. We only stayed for one night but will definitely come back if we are visiting Sonoma again. They were good about giving us our privacy but next time we would like to spend more time talking to them. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.
