My classical Frederiksberg apartment is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing afternoon before visiting one of the hip local restaurants.
My favorite stuff in the living room is the photo by the danish artist Kirsten Klein and the furs from swedish Gotland sheeps - nice, warm and soft....
5 room classic Copenhagen apartment with balcony and a huge park-like garden.
This is a urban part of Copenhagen with lots of green areas and a 5 min walk from buzzing and vibrant Nørrebro. Just outside the door you are able to buy groceries, fresh fruit and vegetables in the bazaar or one of the shops across the street which are open till 9 pm. A nice sushi deli and a pizzeria are 2 min away. Do you go for a 5 min walk you’ll also find nice cafès and restaurants with cheap food, or you can take your dinner at prize winning ‘Manfreds’ or ‘Relæ’ in colourful Jægersborggade. Here you will also be able to take a coffee break at ‘Lyst’ or ‘Coffee Collective’ enjoying gourmet coffee and delightful cakes from the founder of the Nordic Cooking movement, Claus Meyer. Around the corner you’ll have lots of transportation possibilities to Copenhagen city centre. Busses run every 10 min and 12 min later you’ll be at the city hall square (biking distance 15 min.). Here you will find Tivoli, the oldest part of Copenhagen and the pedestrian street shopping area.

The colourful children’s room is furnished with a desk, closet, a daybed (extra space for two persons) and a comfortable bed for one person (adult size - 200x90). In the kitchen which is nice and functional you can cook and hang out at the small table. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, lots of cooking gear, seasonings, oils and coffee making stuff – you are free to use. The spacious bathroom has a shower, a washing machine and a dryer. Gitte was so nice and helpful with our stay in Copenhagen. The apartment is very nice and confortable. It is also very well located, public transport is very handy when travelling to the center and even to Sweden by train.
You can find some great supermarkets, seven eleven and some take away restaurants around for the day to day life.
In general a very positive stay. Thank you Gitte!!
The apartment is lovely and very well situated (15 min. by bus to the City Hall, the bus and train stations are a 5min walk from the house). The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need. We only lacked a toaster, international tv channels and the wifi only worked through a pendrive, so we couldn't use the wifi with the cell phones. But the overall experience was great, the house is incredibly warm (something very important especially as we went in late November) and Gitte is a great hostess, she welcomed us warmly, explained us everything and was available to contact any time in case of a problem, which we higly appreciated.
The apartment was very clean and she had left everything prepared for our stay.
We couldn't have chosen better and I higly recommend her place, it's just great.
We had a fantastic time in Copenhagen, so much to do with lots of museums, art galleries and cafe’s. The city has a great atmosphere, everyone we met was very friendly and helpful.
Gitte’s apartment is very spacious and comfortable with lots of stylish features and decor. After a day out around town it’s a great place to come back to, to chill out and relax, (plenty of comfy sofa space and room for everyone to indulge in some quiet time, if they wish). The kitchen was well equipped and the shower produced plenty of piping hot water! We couldn’t have had a more ideal place to stay. The apartment block was quiet and in a pleasant neighbourhood.
The apartment is just 2 minutes walk from the nearest railway station (trains are fantastic, running every few minutes), and also 2 minutes walk from a well stocked supermarket, which produced freshly baked bread and Danish pastries each morning.
Gitte was a really friendly host who was easily contactable when required.
We stayed at Gitte's house with four persons and had a very pleasant stay. The house is great, nicely furnished and very clean. We especially enjoyed the kitchen! Also, we were visiting a conference and needed to work a bit, and the house had enough space to do this. Gitte was very friendly and punctual.

Hi, i'm Gitte
I'm in love with Copenhagen and I have always lived here The city is great - here you can swim in the harbour, take a run in the park, eat heavenly food, find secret clubs and delicious bars, you can explore the city and run into all kinds off people - straight ones as well as stranges ones. My apartment is situated in a pocket off green close to the citys experiences - and I will be happy to share it all with my guests.
