London Bridge Station is both an underground (tube) and overground station that provides excellent access to London. It is on the Jubilee Line which is the only line to connect to all others. Very convenient.
Other Things to Note
It is with regret that we cannot accommodate more than two people, even if you have small children.
We can book any restaurant ahead of your stay as they get booked up quickly, especially at the weekend.
There are 'Boris bikes' around the corner from the apartment, which are a great and cost effective way to travel around.
We are pretty relaxed, but we try to avoid wearing shoes upstairs as the area is carpeted.
Please set the alarm when leaving the flat if no-one is in.
Smoking is prohibited in the flat, but you can smoke outside of the front door.
Clair is super good. I enjoyed my stay in her place and loved the area so much. I would like to book from her again!
Amazing room, amazing hosts and I will be back. Couldnt have been a nicer experience, thank you both.
Claire is a consummate hostess. As soon as I booked, she sent a welcome package with detailed directions as soon, and followed up to make sure that I received them. She also was available by e-mail during my stay in London, and we were able to coordinate last minute changes in my plans. The flat is really comfortable, and in a fun area of town. The bedroom is very nicely decorated, and is comfortable, private and quiet. It has special jacks with USB ports, and white-out shades - Claire has thought through the details. For those with mobility issues, the place is about a 10 minute walk from the closest Tube station, but it is a walk down a lovely old street with lots of tantalizing glimpses of side alleys and many restaurants - and the neighborhood is full of people even late at night on a weeknight, so feels very safe. Thanks very much to Claire and Nick for a great stay.
Claire was an excellent hostess. I recommend it.
Despite my wife and I did not speak English, we helped us at all times and able to communicate clearly. The exact description of the department is what you see in the pictures: warm, comfortable, clean and very cute.
We felt at home during our stay. It was our first trip to London, but if we undoubtedly will be with Claire. We enjoyed our stay there.
Nice and clean room in a real quiet, but nonetheless vivid and interesting neighbourhood. Claire was a very friendly host and offered a good breakfast every morning, so that we could start our field trips to London well prepared. We can recommend this place!
It was a pleasure meeting Claire and enjoyed the conversations. The room is pretty and the USB charger plugs beside the bed was a very nice touch. Next to the flat is the whitecube gallery. You defiantly want to check it out. The area has lots of nice pubs and cafes.
