About this listing
Welcome to my 5 star listing!
Oslo is an expensive town and I have collected many good (& cheap) ideas and advice about what to do to stretch your money while you are here. 2 free city bikes in the season. Answer normally within an hour.
If you stay in this flat, all central Oslo will be at your doorstep.
I will do my best to make your trip to Oslo to be awesome and full of memories. If there is anything special you would like to see or do in Oslo during your stay, I will be more than happy to help out with practical stuff.
The room is most suitable for 1-2 guest. On the picture you see one 90 cm, but I can give you one more bed. Fresh bed linen and towels are provided.
The apartment is very bright and cozy with windows in every room, wooden floors and all the comforts of a well-stocked home.
You are free to use the kitchen to prepare meals, make coffee/tea any time and to store your own food/drink items. The kitchen, living-room and bathroom are all shared with me.
Interaction with Guests
I live here and I will try my best to give your stay some extra memories.
Sometimes you will also meet fellow travelers in the apartment.
NB - until June 2015 the reviews belongs to another listing.
The world famous Munch Museum is in the neighborhood. And you will find botanical garden, the Opera, Ekeberg Park, The River Aker etc.
A fifteen minute walk takes you to Grünerløkka. There you’ll find cafes, bars, restaurants etc. It’s also a popular shopping district.
Local amenities include food/convenience stores, Indian restaurants, Sushi-restaurants, Thai restaurant, café, pubs, fitness club etc in a multicultural area. Decent curries can be picked up at the cheapest prices in Oslo in this area.

About the Host, Merete
Happy to host independent travellers and offer practical advice and fun tips to make a great visit to Oslo even better. I have travelled extensively around Europe, Asia and South America and I love to meet people who enjoy exploring different countries and cultures.
I am more than happy to recommend activities, sights and how to get there. I like to go to exhibitions and festivals and have a good overview of what is happening in Norway in art and cultural context.
I’ve lived in Oslo for many years and in between I’ve also lived in Germany, England and Denmark.
I'm really looking forward to having you as my guests! Welcome :)
