The team behind Mabel Gray restaurant has created a beautiful, completely renovated duplex featuring this one bedroom, one bathroom unit in Hazel Park! A mid-century modern home newly furnished to provide a cozy and relaxing retreat.

The space
This adorable duplex is great for any occasion. Each unit is perfect for a couples retreat or if you and your 4 legged friend want to spend some quality time together. Renting out both units with another couple is a great idea for a shared backyard hangout with the privacy of your own space. Each unit is stocked with the essentials to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

• The interior is full of fun retro designs and quirky bird art.
- This is a pet friendly unit. There is a $25 per pet fee. If you have a pet without noting it in your reservation there will be a $50 fee.
- We love dogs! We have dogs of our own and understand they’re all unique. However, we ask that you take care to make sure your 4 legged friend not dig holes in the yard, track dirt through the house, scratch, chew or damage any furniture. We’re proud of our little duplex and want to keep it nice for future guests (dogs and humans).
• A queen sized bed for a full nights rest with the option of the sleeper sofa in the living room for any extra sleeping space.
• 50 inch smart tv with access to your favorite streaming services.
• Bathrooms are stocked with bath towels, wash rags and basic toiletries you may need. Shower is spacious with a built in bench for optional seating.
• The kitchenette is stocked with a mini fridge, microwave, dishwasher, French press, coffee, tea, coffee grinder, plates, bowls, silverware & glassware and includes a small dining table with two chairs for coffee in the morning.
• The private backyard area is fully enclosed (8ft fence) with a park like setting covered by two big beautiful trees with a picnic table available on each side. Shaded throughout most of the day. Great outdoor dining/hangout spot. It is a dog friendly and professionally landscaped area with all Michigan native plantings for a micro ecosystem. Bird bath in the back corner for our bird friends.
*Please note! The back half of the backyard is full of young, newly planted native plants & flowers creating a micro prairie. We ask that you please be careful when walking around the back and not be too critical of the natural appearance as it still full of young plants that need time to become established. Thank you!*
• Located minutes away from I-696, I-75 & Woodward Ave. With Detroit, Royal Oak, Madison Heights & Ferndale nearby, there are plenty of activities, grocery & dining options.

I'm a former chef turned farmer. You can usually find me hanging out with my partner James and our two pups in the garden or in the Keweenaw. When I'm not in the garden, I enjoy all things food & beverage, traveling and exploring & learning about everything nature has to offer us! Life is crazy and I think it's important to celebrate it everyday. Maybe we will meet each other along the way. cheers!
