Enjoy your stay in our early '900 house!
It is in a very central, but non-touristy area of Rome where you'll breathe the atmosphere of an authentic Roman neighborhood.

This is a SHARED apartment: one host lives in the house and there are 2 guestrooms.

Recently renovated, keeping its original structure and charm.
Huge and cozy. Perfectly connected, clean, adorable and stylishly furnished.
Very large and bright bedrooms, with parquet floors and bed with special sweet dreams mattrasses, so comfortable you'll find it hard to get up.
2 shared bathrooms: one with shower, one with bathtub.
NO washing machine available.
Feel free to use the 2 bathrooms, the huge living room and the lounging corners.
And also:
Wifi, heating, dishwasher, hair dryer, American and Italian coffee makers :-)
Fresh bed linen, towels and a rich BREAKFAST are provided.
We have a perfectly working PIANO!
Elevator, doorman, courtyard and a huge common terrace on the roof with an amazing 360° view upon Rome.

Right in front of the house you can catch tram number 3, taking you directly and quickly to the Coliseum, Circo Massimo, Trastevere, Villa Borghese, the National Gallery of Modern Art, the zoo, the Pyramid, the vibrant San Lorenzo neighborhood and peaceful Aventino.

Close to Termini train station (two metro stations away) where the cheap and fast bus shuttles from and to the airports (Fiumicino and Ciampino) arrive and start.

Very close to metro station, line A (San Giovanni or Manzoni stations) taking you to Termini central station, Piazza Barberini, the Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo, San Peter's, the Vatican Museums, the huge parks of Caffarella and Aqueducts, Cinecittà.

A nice public garden is right across the street, beside the ancient Aurelian Walls (dating back to the III century!) you can view from your window.

The amazing Basilica of San Clemente (known as 'the lasagna church' because it reflects how Rome was built on layers), is reachable on foot and so is the astonishing Santo Stefano Rotondo Church, superancient and hiding a surprise.

All the basic shops and services are around the corner: snack bars, ATM, bakery, restaurants, pizzerias, self service restaurant, supermarket, delikatessen, pharmacy, tobacco store, newsstand (where you can get bus/metro tickets and cards), a small fruits&veg market in the morning, an all you can eat sushi restaurant and even a cheap vintage and second hand indoor market!

The big, famous and colorful Piazza Vittorio food market is reachable with a nice walk or a 2-stop metro ride.

Possible theme and special tours to discover popular spots and attractions across the city as well as secret and hidden corners only locals get to know.
You might even decide to take up Italian or cooking classes with professional teachers!

We are 100% Romans and we will be happy to give you advice about must-sees, must-dos and must-eats!
We'll reveal to you some secrets to enjoy the city going off the beaten track.

Your privacy will be always guaranteed, we hope you will feel home and free to enjoy you Roman stay to the full, having breakfast anytime you like, going out/get 24h with your own key set!

It was a pleasure to stay with Giulia and Susanna. The room was spacious, and comfortable with a giant window. There was also a great fan which was really nice since Rome was hot when we visited. Breakfast was set up and available for us to take whenever we wanted which was really convenient. The bathroom(s) were also perfect and clean. The flat is about a 25-minute walk to the Colosseum so for being 'outside' the touristy area its still close enough to all the action and a metro stop was only 5 minutes away. Overall I'd highly recommend staying in Giulia and Susanna's flat, thanks for a great stay!

the apartment was a very spacious home, and thus, our bedroom was very roomy and comfortable. The home possessed many fascinating collections of artifacts and art from Giulia's travels abroad which made for great conversations. Giulia was able to provide us with great recommendations for local restaurants which all turned out to be great...attended by locals enjoying the warm summer weather and even warmer friendships. And she also provided us with information on sites to (URL HIDDEN) close by neighbourhoods such as Monti. I would highly recommend staying at Giulia's place....great value ( she even had breakfast ready for us....we were not expecting it). And, the warmth and enthusiasm as well as helpfulness, exuded by her....well, that ' s the icing on the cake!

We LOVED staying at Giulia's. Her home is unique and very spacious. We loved the detail in the decoration and in our room. We felt welcomed in her home. We did not have a problem finding the apartment. Giulia speaks great English and communication was not an issue. I will definitely recommend staying here. I loved the chocolates on top of our folded towels wrapped in ribbon. Very nice touch.

The house looks like a decoration magazine, she, as much as her friend who has welcomed us, are very kind. It helped us in which places to visit and was always very attentive to us. 100% recommendable. The house super clean, cute and cozy. Accessible by walking to the Coliseum (15 minutes on foot). The breakfast fantastic !!

If you want to experience Rome in the Roman way (contemporary) then this is the one place stop. Giulia is a wonderful person who would move earth to ensure you stay comfortable. I bugged her day and night seeking best way to explore Rome in 2 days (lethargic way I mean). And she was there to give me a customised solution. Besides her place is a wonderful house to stay. Breakfast is awesome and she ensures right kind of people stay at her place. Very possessive about her cleanliness and hence I dare say that you may stay away from her kitchen (ask what you want and she will provide). Definitely have the grounded coffee which she personally prepares the best. To sum it all the place is conveniently located near the "places to see". Very well connected by trams busses and by walking. It's worth every time and money in the company of Giulia and her brigade!
