THE HOUSE
Enjoy your stay in our early '900 house!
It is in a very central, but non-touristy area of Rome where you'll breathe the atmosphere of an authentic Roman neighborhood.

Recently renovated, keeping its original structure and charm.
Huge and cozy. Perfectly connected, clean, adorable and stylishly furnished.
Very large and bright bedrooms, with parquet floors and bed with special sweet dreams mattrasses, so wonderfully comfortable you'll find it hard to get up.
2 spotless clean bathrooms: one with shower, one with bathtub.
Fully equipped kitchen, with a spacious fridge to store your food and drinks. Kitchen only available for simple and fast food preparation (NO frying, sorry).
Feel free to use the 2 bathrooms, the huge living room and the lounging corners.
And also:
Wifi, heating, dishwasher, hair dryer, American and Italian coffee makers :-)
Fresh bed linen, towels and a rich BREAKFAST are provided.
We have a perfectly working PIANO!
Elevator, doorman, courtyard and a huge common terrace on the roof with an amazing 360° view upon Rome.

THE AREA, PUBLIC TRANSPORT CONNECTIONS, SHOPS AND AMENITIES
Right in front of the house you can catch tram number 3, taking you directly and quickly to the Coliseum, Circo Massimo, Trastevere, Villa Borghese, the National Gallery of Modern Art, the zoo, the Pyramid, the vibrant San Lorenzo neighborhood and peaceful Aventino.

Close to Termini train station (two metro stations away) where the cheap and fast bus shuttles from and to the airports (Fiumicino and Ciampino) arrive and start.

Very close to metro station, line A (San Giovanni or Manzoni stations) taking you to Termini central station, Piazza Barberini, the Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo, San Peter's, the Vatican Museums, the huge parks of Caffarella and Aqueducts, Cinecittà.

A nice public garden is right across the street, beside the ancient Aurelian Walls (dating back to the III century!) you can view from your window.

The amazing Basilica of San Clemente (known as 'the lasagna church' because it reflects how Rome was built on layers), is reachable on foot and so is the astonishing Santo Stefano Rotondo Church, superancient and hiding a surprise.

All the basic shops and services are around the corner: snack bars, ATM, bakery, restaurants, pizzerias, self service restaurant, supermarket, delikatessen, pharmacy, tobacco store, newsstand (where you can get bus/metro tickets and cards), a small fruits&veg market in the morning, an all you can eat sushi restaurant and even a cheap vintage and second hand indoor market!

The big, famous and colorful Piazza Vittorio food market is reachable with a nice walk or a 2-stop metro ride.

PLUS
Possible theme and special tours to discover popular spots and attractions across the city as well as secret and hidden corners only locals get to know.
You might even decide to take up Italian or cooking classes with professional teachers!

  • My friend Vonnie and I spent just three nights at Giulia's and had the best time.
The room was great...spacious and clean with a nice outlook. The apartment was spotless and we had more than we needed for breakfast every day with yummy fresh cannoli one morning.
We had a few dramas with our suitcase going missing en route and Giulia was soooo helpful making calls for us and helping us book tickets at the last minute.
We met her lovely mother and boyfriend who were both charming. We loved Giulia's easy, relaxed manner and felt like we were staying with friends!
    Highly recommended!!!!
We will be sending all our friends there and will be back next time we visit Rome! :)

  • Excellent stay!

Giulia is a wonderful host. From the beginning, she followed up on the booking very promptly. Even when my flight was delayed and I arrived late at night, she was very understanding.

The spacious and bright apartment is just like the pictures and filled with quaint little objects of beauty. My room itself was large too. It's about a 10 minute walk to the Coliseum, there a tram stop in front of the building and a metro stop a few minutes away so it's easy to get around too.

An additional advantage is the Giulia kindly provides coffee and breakfast for her guests for a perfect start of the day :)

Highly recommended and amazing value for money!

  • We stayed with Giulia for 5 nights. Her place was lovely and very beautifully decorated. Giulia was a wonderful host and breakfast was also very plentiful and filling. The room is large and exactly as shown in the pictures. We had a wonderful time at her house.

  • These rooms are located in a stunning early 1900s building with a beautiful courtyard, wooden doors and marble staircases. There is also a lift to take you up to the 4th floor. A great view of the neighboring buildings from the bedroom window, many of which have balcony flower beds that only add to the charm of this stylish Roman neighborhood. The location is very near the Colosseum and only a few Metro stops from the Centro, but without feeling in the least bit touristy. Giulia is a wonderful host with excellent suggestions on food and the lesser know attractions of Rome. The presence of two bathrooms is also a great feature for those concerned with having to share a bathroom. There is an element of artistic bohemianism to the flat that will make you feel as if you were transported back in time. I highly recommend this spot for those wishing to thoroughly experience the charm and history of Rome.

  • Staying at Giulia's was GREAT!!!! fantastic first Airbnb experience!! Perfect combination of a nice place with a very nice hostess! She really makes a difference, looking after all details and always concerned about the wellbeing of her guests! Thank you so much Giulia and Vanni!!!
The apt. is so beautiful, spacious and bright!, bedroom and bed very confortable, spotless bathrooms,( as it looks in the pictures) the building is very nice and well located in a quiet yet lively neighborhood ( speaking of Rome, beleive me this is a plus!)
San Giovani Metro Station four blocks away, Tram Stop just accross the sreet
Breakfast very complete, with wide variety of good products ( more than what anyone can have for breakfast)
The place is superclean and neat, it was a real pleasure to come back home after a long day visiting Rome.
Giulia is a very dedicated, thoughtful, and warm person, who made as feel home., like if we were being hosted by a friend!! and same goes for Vianni, . We loved meeting you both, and apreciate those "trilingual" conversations we had, it was fun!!, we will recommend you, ( as a matter of fact we already did) Everything exceeded our expectations!! Thanks again!! Thanks for the laundry too!!

A bientôt Giulia and Co si nous revenons à Rome !! Michèle et Joëlle
