Enjoy your stay in our early '900 house!
It is in a very central, but non-touristy area of Rome where you'll breathe the atmosphere of an authentic Roman neighborhood.
Recently renovated, keeping its original structure and charm.
Huge and cozy. Perfectly connected, clean, adorable and stylishly furnished.
Very large and bright bedrooms, with parquet floors and bed with special sweet dreams mattrasses, so wonderfully comfortable you'll find it hard to get up.
2 spotless clean bathrooms: one with shower, one with bathtub.
Fully equipped kitchen, with a spacious fridge to store your food and drinks.
Kitchen only available for simple and fast food/drink preparation (tea, coffee, sandwiches, salads etc.; NO cooking, frying etc., sorry).
Feel free to use the 2 bathrooms, the huge living room and the lounging corners.
Wifi, heating, dishwasher, hair dryer, American and Italian coffee makers :-)
Fresh bed linen, towels and a rich BREAKFAST are provided.
We have a perfectly working PIANO!
Elevator, doorman, courtyard and a huge common terrace on the roof with an amazing 360° view upon Rome.
THE AREA, PUBLIC TRANSPORT CONNECTIONS, SHOPS AND AMENITIES
Right in front of the house you can catch tram number 3, taking you directly and quickly to the Coliseum, Circo Massimo, Trastevere, Villa Borghese, the National Gallery of Modern Art, the zoo, the Pyramid, the vibrant San Lorenzo neighborhood and peaceful Aventino.
Close to Termini train station (two metro stations away) where the cheap and fast bus shuttles from and to the airports (Fiumicino and Ciampino) arrive and start.
Very close to metro station, line A (San Giovanni or Manzoni stations) taking you to Termini central station, Piazza Barberini, the Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo, San Peter's, the Vatican Museums, the huge parks of Caffarella and Aqueducts, Cinecittà.
A nice public garden is right across the street, beside the ancient Aurelian Walls (dating back to the III century!) you can view from your window.
The amazing Basilica of San Clemente (known as 'the lasagna church' because it reflects how Rome was built on layers), is reachable on foot and so is the astonishing Santo Stefano Rotondo Church, superancient and hiding a surprise.
All the basic shops and services are around the corner: snack bars, ATM, bakery, restaurants, pizzerias, self service restaurant, supermarket, delikatessen, pharmacy, tobacco store, newsstand (where you can get bus/metro tickets and cards), a small fruits&veg market in the morning, an all you can eat sushi restaurant and even a cheap vintage and second hand indoor market!
The big, famous and colorful Piazza Vittorio food market is reachable with a nice walk or a 2-stop metro ride.
Possible theme and special tours to discover popular spots and attractions across the city as well as secret and hidden corners only locals get to know.
You might even decide to take up Italian or cooking classes with professional teachers!
We are 100% Romans and we will be happy to give you advice about must-sees, must-dos and must-eats!
We'll reveal to you some secrets to enjoy the city going off the beaten track.
Your privacy will be always guaranteed, we hope you will feel home and free to enjoy you Roman stay to the full, having breakfast anytime you like, playing the piano or reading on the couch for hours..
Benvenuti a casa!
We usually take our shoes off when we get home and we would appreciate it if you could do it too :-)
We are there for any need or request you might have during your stay.
We like to share our house and stuff with our guests, but please consider that most things at our place have a special sentimental value to us, so the only thing we ask our guests is to be respectful and careful when using them.
We are ecologically committed and against the waste of energy and resources: please turn off lights when you leave a room and use water responsibly.
We carefully separate and sort trash.
Fridge available for drink and food storage.
Kitchen available ONLY for simple, fast food and drink preparation: cold dishes (salads, sandwiches etc.), tea, coffee. You can also cook pasta if you want, but frying and big/smelly cooking is not allowed :-( sorry.
Please close BOTH elevator doors after use.
Thank you! Good karma and Italian magic in return :-)
This is by far the best airbnb I have ever stayed at! The breakfast in the morning was amazing everyday! It included a variety of pastries and cereals and yogurts and hard boiled eggs etc. The location is amazing as well! The neighborhood is nice, I felt very safe. We could walk to the colosseum from Giulia's house. She was very helpful too when we had questions about how to get places in Rome and what are good places to eat. This home is very big, and while we were there there was another couple staying there as well from France. They were very sweet as well. The bed was very comfortable too!
The home was beautiful and the bed was wonderfully comfortable, with great pillows! The location was excellent with easy walking access to everything of ancient Rome we wished to see.
We had a nice time at Giulia's place. It was perfect in every way. The location was good. We walked everywhere even to the Vatican. She arranged for a pick up and drop off for us to the airport and they were very reliable. The house was nicely stocked and the bed was so perfect that we did not want to leave it. I could even do laundry once and went to dry them in the terrace which was very good experience. The view from the terrace was great. The place is close to the San Giovanni at Laterno and the apartment is very secure with three locked doors to get into. When we came in there were some other guests living there too. But after a day we mostly had the apartment to ourself. I would very happily recommend the apartment. Thank you Giulia for everything.
We were given a nice welcome presentation by Giulia and she gave us excellent recommendations for food, and these places were within walking distance from her place. Giulia is a very sweet girl and is always attentive to our needs! Though San Giovanni is to the south of the city, with the help of (website hidden) Maps we could always find transport (tram, bus, otherwise by train) back to the bnb! Lastly, our trip is made unforgettable when Giulia helped us to call the airline at midnight when we realized that our 9am flight was cancelled. She even offered to keep us at her place for free until we get a flight to our next destination city! Fortunately for us we were able to get another flight... This is really a testimony for Giulia's keenness and kindness to help travelers like us to enjoy Rome to the fullest! 5-star to all aspects!
