Close to Termini train station (two metro stations away) where the cheap and fast bus shuttles from and to the airports (Fiumicino and Ciampino) arrive and start.
Very close to metro station, line A (San Giovanni or Manzoni stations) taking you to Termini central station, Piazza Barberini, the Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo, San Peter's, the Vatican Museums, the huge parks of Caffarella and Aqueducts, Cinecittà.
A nice public garden is right across the street, beside the ancient Aurelian Walls (dating back to the III century!) you can view from your window.
The amazing Basilica of San Clemente (known as 'the lasagna church' because it reflects how Rome was built on layers), is reachable on foot and so is the astonishing Santo Stefano Rotondo Church, superancient and hiding a surprise.
All the basic shops and services are around the corner: snack bars, ATM, bakery, restaurants, pizzerias, self service restaurant, supermarket, delikatessen, pharmacy, tobacco store, newsstand (where you can get bus/metro tickets and cards), a small fruits&veg market in the morning, an all you can eat sushi restaurant and even a cheap vintage and second hand indoor market!
The big, famous and colorful Piazza Vittorio food market is reachable with a nice walk or a 2-stop metro ride.
Possible theme and special tours to discover popular spots and attractions across the city as well as secret and hidden corners only locals get to know.
You might even decide to take up Italian or cooking classes with professional teachers!

Giulia has been a wonderful host. She was waiting for us at home even though we arrived quite late. She showed us everything and we immediately felt welcome and at home. The flat is just gorgeous and our room was very comfy. Everything was exactly as pictured. Giulia provided us with a great breakfast each morning and she also gave us valuable insider's advice on where to go and what to do. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would definitely come back any time! :-)
This apartment is so cosy and charming! You feel Like home here. Very nice breakfast and very nice guidence from the host! Its near the metro and busses, so no problem going whereever you want! I would come back again!
Such a beautiful apartment! Guila was an amazing host and had breakfast ready for us each morning! She gave us ideas on where to go and what to do each day, which was so helpful. All transport was within walking distance and a cafe was just down the road. Definitely recommend staying here!!
Our stay in Rome at Giulia&Susanna was from the beginning till the end very good, our host Giulia welcomed us with delightful coffee and was helpful in getting all the things we needed or wanted to know. It's a very nice and cousy accomodation in which we felt immidiatly at home. We can certainly recommend it to everyone who wants to explore the spledour of this wonderful city!!!
Giulia is a wonderful host, she is very friendly and she provided us with plenty of information on Rome. The apartment is stylish and very clean , we really enjoyed it here, the breakfast was excellent with everything you need prepared early in the morning. Thank you so much for a great stay in Rome, we would definitely stay here again if we had the opportunity to visit this beautiful city again.
Giulia ci ha offerto un'ottima accoglienza e la location della casa è strategica per raggiungere qualsiasi quartiere della capitale. Se ritorno a Roma vado sicuramente da lei!
Giulia is amazing, very kind, and welcoming. She offered help when we had any questions and even went out of her way to help us with a taxi for our flight early in the morning.
The home is unbelievably gorgeous. All of the books, trinkets, and other details tastefully placed in each room makes it fell like we were staying in the set of a TV show. There are two full sized bathrooms, so you never find yourself fighting with others to use it. The place was very well kept and clean throughout our stay. Even though Rome gets hot during the summer, nights are pleasant and we had no trouble sleeping by leaving the window open and letting the breeze flow through.
The home is located very close to the San Giovanni port (2 or 3 blocks tops), where you are able to take the subway, train, or bus. It was incredibly convenient getting to each location because of this. The neighborhood itself has many places to eat and there is a beautiful park located directly across the street from the home if you wanted to casually take a stroll.
I couldn't ask for a better experience. The next time I am in Rome, I will be looking Giulia up again :)
