The room is perfect for one person, it's furnished, towels and bedclothes provided. The flat is located 15 minutes walking distance from the main Bus/Train Station.
The room is perfect for one person. It is around 9 square meters and it's furnished (see photos). Towels and bedclothes provided.
The flat is located 15 minutes walking distance from the railway station. It has three bedrooms, kitchen (with a balcony) and bathroom. It had been completely redesigned and renovated in 2011, so even though it is located in an old building (from around 1910) it is very comfortable and in high standard. There is old wooden floor, doors and handles, wooden frame windows. All that (plus some of my Grandmother's furniture) gives a very cosy and warm feeling to the flat. And yes, I like wood :) There is a lot of light there too.
Feel free to use the kitchen to prepare meals for yourself (there is a dishwasher so no worries about washing up).
The balcony is full of plants and herbs - a perfect place for having breakfast/lunch or relaxing during the day. The balcony is also the only place where smoking is allowed.
There is also bathroom with tiny bathtub (treat it more like a shower :).
Interaction with Guests
I spend most of the time outside Poznan and come back for few days every month. But my flatmate, Juliusz is here for most of the time. He is a very nice and quiet guy who will be happy to show you around if I'm not here.
The flat is located in Łazarz area. It's one of the oldest and nicest areas in Poznan - with a mix of old and modern architecture.
It's perfect for those who like to feel the city's natural rhythm and hang out where regular people live :))
Just behind the corner there is a Food Market (Rynek Łazarski). It's open from Monday to Saturday during the day - full of vegetables, fruits, local honey, mushrooms, flowers, second hand clothes and antiques. The place has it's specific charm (together with other Markets you can find in Poznan) :))
Łazarz is not a neighbourhood with a lot of cafés and restaurants although there are a few new nice ... p... There practically no night life. I'll be happy though to recommend you nice places in the City Centre.
The flat is also 15 minutes walking distance from the Poznan International Fair (Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie), so if you're coming to take part in any events there you won't have to spend two hours in traffic.
You can also use public transport to get to the Centre or other areas of Poznan. Trams stop is located near the Food Market.
In 10 minutes walk you can also get to see Arena - sport and concert hall surrounded by a nice little Park.
To mój drugi pobyt w mieszkaniu Kaliny. Nie udało mi się spotkać z Kaliną, ale bardzo gościnnie przyjął mnie Juliusz jej współlokator. To był bardzo miły pobyt. Mieszkanie i pokój są w pełni spójne z ofertą- można tam wypocząć. Polecam :)
I felt welcome from first second by 2 nice hosts that took me in and provided coffee and a chat - recommendations of what to see/do in Poznan.
The room was cozy, very nice utilities in the flat, and Juliusz most helpful during my stay. The surroundings were as described in this add.
Thanks to you both, hope to see you again.
Great place in a good location close to town. Kalina's housemate was lovely and gave me some good tips on how to get round. Comfy, clean and nice decor.
Kalina is a great hostess, the flat is very cosy, renovated and located in a central place... it was a pleasure!!
See below;-) (I stayed a bit longer than originally planned). So, if you like to feel at home during your travel, this is the right place!
