Interaction with Guests
You get the run of the place full privacy and my prop. manager lives nearby and he checks in only if needed.
We are a stones throw from all those cute little shops in the North Conway Village and our house is a stones throw from Whitaker Woods a series of hiking and cross country trails that connect to the Artist Falls and Moat mountain areas. The Kearsage Rd. area and neighborhood is considered the high end area and is very safe and secure. Also it is very Bike friendly and you should try hurricane mountain rd. that leads up to Mountain pond a very good bike ride.
The bus does run nearby but bike works and walking is possible too.

Marco double booked this place. I was surprised to wake up the first night by a couple with 2 children and a pregnant wife who claimed to have booked the place. Called Marco and he said he had no idea what happened. I paid $300 out of my own pocket so that these people could have a hotel to sleep in for the night, as Marco said their was nothing he could do this late.
I understand things can happen, but after trying to reach Marco after the reservation was completed to see if he could reimburse my expense or discount my stay, he would not answer my calls or texts. Very poor way to do business. Here is a screenshot of the texts with Marco. (website hidden)(phone number hidden)PM.png?dl=0
And I did see the emails from the other couple stating their booking with Marco, as well as emails between them and they even had the correct lock box code from Marco himself.
I would have liked to resolve this with Marco, but ignoring me is not the way to do this.
This was later discovered to be a lie. I reimbursed the couple who stayed at my home as they produced a receipt for that one night they had to stay in a hotel due to airbnb's overbooking mix up. This clown claimed he paid $300 for a night stay for this guest so he could get money back. There are no hotels nearby that charge anywhere near that. Obvious lie.
The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We got the key-code in advance. However, the owner gave us the code to another cottage he is renting and we weren't able to contact him so we had to sleep at another place...
Fortunately, AirBNB's phone support helped us and fortunately, this other cottage had enough rooms and beds for everyone.
It was clean.
At the end, a relatively good experience.
Everything was great, we loved the house, the kids enjoy playing air hockey! The only comment we would make, is bunk beds are on the first floor and the other two bedrooms are upstairs. It wasn't a big issues but good to know when you are traveling with little kids. Otherwise, I would highly recommend renting this house.
