An idyllic top floor oasis in one of the coolest Brooklyn neighborhoods. Huge layout, sunlight pouring in, and a very homey vibe. Enjoy roof access, an amazing view of Manhattan, and a fully equipped kitchen.
The super sunny living room with lots of seating. The table expands into a full dining room beauty and the couch folds down to sleep two.
Welcome to Greenpoint! One of the coolest neighborhoods in New York City.
900sq foot 1.5 bedroom apartment for short term or weekend rentals. The flat has windows on three sides, a fully-equipped and brand new kitchen, queen sized bed with feather duvet, separate office and dressing room, huge lovely living room with a big comfortable couch, and a rooftop with the most amazing views of the Manhattan skyline you can get from Brooklyn.
The sofa sleeps one person very comfortably (it's 7 feet long), and there is an additional very comfortable, self-inflating and deflating air bed that sleeps 2, in addition to the queen-sized bed.
Wifi, towels, and linen included.
You are two blocks from the G subway train, or a quick 10-minute walk to the Bedford L subway stop, in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. From there, it's one very quick stop to Manhattan.
Lots of adorable and hip restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. You're steps to the waterfront, two parks, and there's a grocery store across the street.
Make yourself at home!
P.S. Currently, there is no cleaning fee for your stay. The expectation is that you'll be able to use a broom and a sponge to leave the apartment in the same fantastic condition you found it, saving yourself some money.
Greenpoint is a cool, young neighborhood with an old-world Polish vibe.
The G train is 1 block from the apartment, and the L train at Bedford is about a 10 minute walk away. Lots of busses will also give you options.

We liked the apartment a lot - especially the view and the ability to go up on the roof top from the apartment.
But had some difficulties to find places to place our clothing as we stayed more than one night and did not want to keep the jackets in the suitcases. Would have liked some place to hang them. With only one set of keys to the apartment we had to arrange for both of us to meet etc when we did things by our selves. It would have helped a lot if we had had two sets of keys. But beside of the difficulty to hang clothes, the difficulties with the keys and the price of renting the apartment per night which was a bit to much for a Green Point location we liked the Place a lot. The host Alana was very friendly and gave different ideas of what to visit in the area for us as new comers. But all these things can easily be arranged, when this is done I would recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay in Alana's beautiful apartment. If you are looking around the greenpoint/williamsburg area, you should definitely stay here. It has amazing views of Manhattan, is in a great neighborhood. The subway access on the g-train is hit or miss, but I just walked to the nearest Citibike station and rode into manhattan (much nicer on a spring day!). Also Alana is a very good and organized host with a very clean and stylish place. Bring earplugs because the street noise can be a bit loud (typical for New York). I would definitely stay here again!
Alana is great. Didn't have the chance to meet her, but she was extremely easy to communicate with and left nothing unanswered. I stayed in her beautiful apartment with my mom for a weekend and we had a great time. The apartment has everything you need and is cozy and magical to say the least. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend Alana's place 100%!
Thank you Alana for being such an accommodating host. Your apartment was just as advertised. Although the subway was very close the neighbourhood was fun to explore. Our only regret was we left Monday and the chocolate shop we discovered didn't open until Wednesday. So readers, don't miss out on visiting the Cacao Market, 67 Guernsey St, a 15 minute walk from Alana's apartment. Right opposite is the largest vintage and other clothing depot I have ever browsed. It's open long hours and you can't leave without finding a Greenpoint momento. We really enjoyed the Brooklyn Museum.
My partner and I had a great time staying in Alana's apartment. She was easy to communicate with, access was simple, and she was extremely helpful with giving tips and advice on the Greenpoint area. The apartment itself is beautifully styled and is huge, and looks just like the pictures. There are also great views from all the windows! The area has a friendly atmosphere with plenty of great places to eat and shop, as well as being close to transport to Manhattan. I would definitely recommend staying here!
Alana made my check in so easy after a day of travel! While I didn't get to meet her, she made getting keys simple and efficient. Alana was welcoming and informative via email and notes left at the apartment. The apartment was exactly as listed with a wonderful view of Manhattan. It was bright, cheery, clean and well organized. The Brooklyn/Greenpoint neighborhood was close or convenient to all we were looking to do for our weekend in NYC. Great stay at a great place!!
My wife and I had an easy time getting in. Alana had set up everything for an easy transition.
Her place was exactly as it looks in pictures/exactly as described. It was immaculate, clean, and comfortable.
We had a couple of occasions we needed to go to Manhattan and, with easy access to the subway, it was a piece of cake.
There was a little nighttime noise when the garbage trucks came through, but that's part of being in the city.
While we did not spend much time on the rooftop, it was pretty amazing up there, with great views and easy access.
I would highly recommend this sunny place (appropriately named) to anyone looking for a great place in Brooklyn.
I'm run an interactive creative agency in Brooklyn called Radish Lab. I'm digital journalist and producer who hails from Canada.
I like to obsess over my next great meal, design project, and travel adventure.
I have successfully kept 2 house plants alive for a very long time.
I wish I had more time to read all the New Yorkers in my apartment.
Hopefully you'll enjoy those :)
