The space

Double room in our house in Cuenca. Our home consists of 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and toilet, lounge and kitchen, we have a small terrace for smokers, because indoors can not.

The room is right in front of the bathroom, and as difficult as it may seem, you will enjoy plenty of privacy in our home. Our goal is that you feel good because you're on vacation, especially you feel at home.

Upon arrival in your room, you will find towels and bath mat, key to the wifi, as well as tourist information and city maps. In your room there is a desk, wardrobe, TV and a small welcome chocolates. Everything is meticulously clean, and we like that on arrival you feel good in our home.

If you have a baby of up to two years, it is possible to install a baby cot saying in advance of your arrival.

The kitchen is at your disposal, to cook, find induction hob, microwave, oven and coffee maker. You will have a shelf in the fridge to put your own food.

At breakfast find, juice, fresh milk, tea and coffee, bread, butter, muffins or homemade biscuits and homemade jam, I do myself.

You can park easily and for free, on the street in front of the building, if you want an enclosed carport, no one at your disposal for just 8 € / night. If you arrive Ave, I can pick you up at the station for 8 €, take a taxi costs 12 €.

We are in a very quiet, green and full of trees along the river Júcar, is an area where the Cuenca usually walk, perfect for exploring trails that will take you through landscapes of rock, green and spectacular river, or to discover the city medieval. Very close walk to the tourist area of the city, just 10 minutes walk from the University. There, supermarket nearby, snuff and lottery store, vegetable shops, bar, restaurants and bakery.

The n.6/7 bus stop is 100 meters from home, our location is perfect if you plan to go climbing in the sickle, or visit the Enchanted City or the Serrania Conquense. There are excursions to different parts of the province which will send information as desired. Within the city, there is a guided night walk to advise all my guests, because you can learn a magical and enchanted, if you want I got it to book your place as it is small. The walk takes about 2 hours and costs 15 € per couple.

Cuenca is a unique city, come and get to know it!

- Los horarios de check in y check out.

It becomes immediately obvious on arrival why Eva, Alba and Paula get glowing reviews. Their home is charming and immaculate. Paula, who speaks no English bubbles all over you not the least worried about understanding each other. Eva is very charming and friendly host and her daughter Alba helps out with a better understanding of English. All three went out of there way to help my wife when she fell ill including picking things from the famacia when my attempt failed. Plus the location is wonderful.

We had a fabulous time with Eva and her daughter Alba, while we stayed in Cuenca! The apartment was perfect, great location and very clean and very comfortable. Eva and her daughter were BOTH very helpful too, so great to have their input into places to see and good restaurants in the area. Eva also prepared an excellent breakfast for us in the morning, it was SO good!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

We were not able to meet Eva or her daughter Alba. Eva's mother welcomed us. The house is as described and we had it all for ourselves. There was road work in front of the house, but we were fortunate enough to find a parking spot almost in front. Room is very cozy, does not have AC or a fan and it was very hot the day we stayed so if you are not used to high temperatures without AC or a fan it might be a little hard to sleep at night. the bathroom is great. Eva kept constant communication with us. We had water and chocolates waiting for us. Breakfast was ready for us, Eva makes homemade jams, the one we tried was delicious. Her mother checked up on us at night to see how we were doing. There was not a map or enough info left for us, maybe the previous hosts took it with them but we managed thanks to her mother's recommendations. There's a bus stop near to the house, they only run about every 20 minutes but if you are not used to walk uphill, I recommend you take it to go downtown, you'll do enough uphill walking once you are there. We wished we could have stayed more time but at least we could made a stop.

We just decided to visit Cuenca on the spur of the moment and luckily we found Eva's room available for the night. We speak almost no Spanish and so this was especially nice to have Alba to speak with! This was a most pleasant stay and everything was just perfect. The town is a delight!
