About This Listing
My two-story home reflects a Mediterranean style that is welcoming and comfortable.. It's located in a quiet neighborhood and within walking distance near Windsor's Town Green.
This is my Listing #2.
Your second floor PRIVATE ROOM has an Old World European feel with a queen bed that is both elegant and very comfortable. It's a Duxiana bed, hand-made in Sweden! There's a full guest bathroom immediately across the hallway. This room is ideal for a couple or a single guest.
Your stay includes use of a gas BBQ on the patio, and full kitchen.
I'm located in the heart of Sonoma wine country within 5 minutes of posh Healdsburg or 10 minutes to rustic Sebastopol or the spectacular Sonoma Coast beaches. There's easy access to more than six wine appellations. Whether you prefer Michelin stars or foodie's best bets, choose to dine from many restaurants that feature locally produced food and artisan ingredients. Napa Valley is only 30 minutes to the east and San Francisco is about one hour south on Hwy 101. Why not slow down in Wine Country's best kept location?
I visit the places you'll want to visit, and I actually work in a local Sonoma County winery (7 years) so my wine country knowledge will make your visit memorable and unique.

Dan made me feel very welcome. Dan is well-traveled, a wine and cooking enthusiast, and a warm host.
Dan was so easy to communicate with and made our stay great. His home is exactly as pictured, very clean and comfortable. It was very convenient to come back to Dan's after a day out in the vineyards of Healdsburg. We would happily stay with Dan again. Thanks so much Dan for hosting us!
Dan was very welcoming, even though I interrupted his dinner. He took the time to show me around and keeps a detailed binder full of useful information for guests, that includes "tourist" info as well. My room was spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom across the hall was equally spacious and clean. Dan is a great airbnb host, his home embodies the spirit of family and travel and he is relaxed and friendly.
Perfect for what we needed! Dan was very gracious and accommodating of our early check-in and late night return from wedding festivities. Very, very clean and wonderful proximity to wine country. Dan is highly knowledgeable of the surrounding area and respectful of privacy. Thank you!
Second time staying at Dan's and once again a great experience. Easy to check in and coordinate with. Room is really cozy and comfortable. Only stayed one night but was exactly what we need after a long day of wine tasting. Thank you Dan! See you next time!

About the Host, Dan
I'm a native Californian who's raised two amazing boys that are now off to college. My interests include wine and food, cycling, running, triathlons, hiking, music and enjoying the beauty and bounty of northern California, traveling the world and making new friends. I thrive when meeting new people, seeing new places, sharing interests and creating new experiences. Where I live provides opportunities to explore and enjoy these pleasures year round. I love to stay fit and healthy in wine country. After all, the secret of life is enjoying the passage of time.
It's all here in Sonoma County, and all are welcome to stay in my home!
Our local Irish Pub. Worth a pint, for sure.
A good shop if you need a tube or other repair, gear, etc.
Small restaurant that serves awesome Thai food.
Simply our best local coffee shop within walking distance from my home.
Lots of little shops. Go Thursday evenings during the summer for free live music concerts on the green.
If you love sushi the way I love sushi, then Ume is a must.
Consider a margarita with a splash of Patron. Order any item off the menu and you won't be disappointed.
Our local challenging 18 hole course. It's located just up the street from my house.
Make a day of fun kayaking down the river from Healdsburg...
Plan a day trip 9 miles down the river...
A fun way to spend the day in wine country...and minutes away from my home.
Seek out this place and make a reservation...
A locals place...
A place I often recommend...
Awesome with delicious food and atmosphere...
One of our best in wine country...
Where I work ...great Zinfandel and Italian varietals!
Great fun for all...
A must stop in Dry Creek Valley. I tasted Amphora's wine on Nov 11th abd found them to be balanced and very food friendly. Ask if they're pouring the Lakeville Pinot Noir, Malbec, or the Carignane.
A fantastic place to relax on Tomales Bay. Order a dozen locally produces oysters and a glass of wine, then walk out the pier to the Boat Shack. It's magical...
AN excellent place for lunch or dinner if you find yourself in historic Sonoma...
Don't miss Hog Island Oyster. You can order your favorite to go or shucked right there to be enjoyed at a picnic table overlooking Tomales Bay.
