This was our second time visiting the area and staying at this great cottage in winter. The place is nice and clean and has all the amenities needed for a great stay. The view and scenery from the living room are awesome.
High speed internet is also available along with cable tv if the weather is not cooperating.
There are lots of outdoor activities to be done - snowshoeing trails just behind the cottage, downhill skiing at Tremblant and Mont Blanc along with cross country skiing trails at the area parks. There are numerous spa places close by if you need to relax after a day of skiing.
We spent a week in John's cottage between Christmas and New year's eve with our 2 children , 4 and 8 years old. This is located in a residential area. The cottage is far from the main road so very quiet. Very close to all the family ski resorts. The children were able to play outside while us watching them through the ground floor sliding windows, while seating in the sofa. The upstairs living room is very cosy with a beautiful view to enjoy while ( again! ) resting on the sofa. We had a lot of snow but had no problem driving back and forth from the cottage. We would recommend this place to any visitor in the area.
Very great spot!
The chalet is located in a wonderful place with a beautiful panorama on the lake and the forest. The snow only added to the magic. John knows very well the area and has a lot of useful information about it and the activities to do around. Inside the house, there is everything you need ... plus a good Wi-Fi and a lovely fireplace. Without any doubt, I recommend it for all the nature lovers.
