Hans welcomed us as expected and despite suffering from a virus (he considerately kept his distance) he showed us how everything worked and despite blowing the fuse twice in an almost Basil Fawltey way everything eventually worked.
The house is quite old fashioned as is the host,Hans, but in a nice and quaint way. If we had a concern he immediately sorted it out.
We had very nice stay in Hans'es house. It's very cozy and fine equipped. Hans offered us free breakfast, gave a lot of instructions about exploring the country. And we even had a Christmas tree in a room. Despite cold weather outside it was pretty warm inside thanks to the oven.
Thank you Hans and say hello to your tomcat Felix)
This was our first experience with Airbnb. We were travelling as a family of four: 2 adults and 2 children ages 5&7. It could not have been better. Hans responded to our inquires quickly and accurately before our trip. The information he provided ahead of time was extremely helpful and he also mailed us passes for the train and bus which was invaluable. His home was exactly as advertised and suited our needs completely. Once we were there he gave us great suggestions about the activities we were interested in, provided maps of the area as well as prepared instructions for travelling to those destinations. It was colder than we expected the first night but Hans remedied that quickly and our stay was very comfortable. I would stay with him again.
Thanks for your notable stay and objective comment. The first day was the one when the great temperature fall happened after the very long fine and warm autumn weather. The storage stove needs about two days to charge fully. Of course, I can prevent that in the future.
