Find us on F B for more photos, guest book entries, and links.
PLEASE NOTE: Narrow uphill driveway not ideal for full size/oversize vehicles. 4wd recommended in winter conditions.

Our renovated midcentury cabin is nestled between trees with extraordinary unobstructed PANORAMIC views of the mountains and ski slopes! Bright and open floor plan makes it easy for everyone to be together, and large windows and open beam vaulted ceilings bring nature indoors. Natural stone wood-burning fireplace will be a focal point for your gathering. Throw a log on the fire, stare out the window at the incredible views, and enjoy eachother's company. At night, star gazing from the deck will take you away. Enjoy cooking in the modern kitchen with stainless appliances or do some grilling on the deck while breathing in the fresh mountain air! A perfect and cozy getaway without having to sacrifice modern conveniences.

Features: Flatscreen HDTV with smart Blu-ray player accessing online content such as Youtube, Pandora, and your accounts with Netflix, Hulu, etc. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook up a storm. Linens and towels are provided. Other features include mountain views from all rooms, deck with charcoal BBQ grill/smoker, wood burning fireplace, washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher, wireless high speed internet, DVD & VHS in one bedroom, speakers for your ipod/computer in living room, jacuzzi bathtub, board games, and foosball table.

Bedrooms are downstairs, where they stay surprisingly toasty and warm due to central heating. Bedroom 1 has a plush queen mattress and a log frame bed. Bedroom 2 also has a queen log bed, and an additional twin roll-away bed stored in the closet. Upstairs there is a sectional sofa that could easily sleep 2 more people. One bathroom is upstairs (jacuzzi tub) and one jack & jill bathroom is downstairs.

Located in the Moonridge neighborhood, the Treehaus Chalet is close to it all and easy to find. Just a short drive or walk to Bear Mountain shuttle (approx 1/2 mile away), 1 mile drive to the Bear Mtn parking lot, minutes from grocery stores, and within a few miles of Snow Summit and the quaint Village!

Your well-behaved and house-trained pooch is welcome. The front deck is a great perch for Fido to survey the neighborhood and watch the birds and squirrels. But be advised the yard is not fenced.

The uphill driveway can park 3 cars in tandem. At 108" wide between wall and railing, it is difficult for full size trucks and SUVs to maneuver and unload. 4wd recommended during winter conditions and low clearance vehicles not recommended due to steep approach from street. Ask if you're unsure if your car will be suitable.

  • Fantastic chalet! Amazing views with everything you need for a break in Big Bear. The cabin is a great size over 2 floors with really comfortable beds, great location ( 5 min drive from the village) and everything was spotless. My parents and I had a great weekend break here relaxing on the balcony with the BBQ and then using the wood fire in the evenings. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. The owners Sara and Eric were also great and very easy to deal with. I can't recommend this place enough and will definitely return!

  • I rented Sara and Eric's Cabin last week on a last minute getaway to celebrate my birthday with a few friends and we all really enjoyed the cabin. Its very clean, functional, and spacious. I will definitely be going back again and recommend this amazing place to all my friends and family.

  • Great place! And great location! I would for sure stay here again. My friend and i had plenty of room for the 2 of us. Comfy beds and great shower. The view and the porch are amazing. We used the BBQ and kitchen so we wouldn't have to spend so much $$$ on restaurants for the long weekend and it was awesome. Super easy to get to all the places we wanted to go. Sara was extremely responsive to my texts or emails which was vey much appreciated. Brought my well behaved pup and she had a relaxing weekend as well since she hung out on the porch while we hiked during the day (she's too old for the adventures these days). Hope to visit Big Bear again soon and will stay here when we do. Driveway is tricky, but definitely do-able... Just takes a bit of patience to figure it out ;)

  • Sara was very communicative and pleasant to deal with. She offered us suggestions for where to eat and what to do, which were very helpful. Also, the view from the deck is gorgeous. We watched birds for hours out there. We were a little disappointed by the lack of resources in the cabin. I would definitely recommend bringing almost everything you think you'll need. It's a nicer ski lodge but really bare bones in a kind of bachelor pad way. We are a couple with a toddler and we felt the space was comfortable for our needs but it might get cramped with too many more people.

  • Sara and Eric were extremely easy to work with, responsive and quick to act when I booked there house three days before I arrived. The pictures do it justice and the size was fine for six guys. Location is great, views are stunning and the open top floor makes it easy for everyone to feel included. Might be a tad bit cramped for six guys on a winter trip, but that's just due to all the gear. Overall I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

    Thanks again Sara!

  • We had the best time staying here. The view was amazing as was the location - right by the slopes. It was a perfect spot to end up after a day of skiing. The beds were cozy - we will rent this cabin again for sure!

  • This was my first time using this site and Sara and Eric made it such a great experience. They were extremely accommodating and overall amazing hosts. They answered all my questions thoroughly and promptly. I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends.

Their place is beautiful and truly has breathtaking views. The appliances and furniture is well kept! In sum, I loved them and their gorgeous cabin!
