If in Rome: Via Margutta as Fellini

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Via Margutta, Rome, Lazio 00187, Italy

The Space

It is a very nice apartment in the CENTER of Rome, in one of the most beautiful and historic streets: VIA MARGUTTA, a narrow street next to Piazza del Popolo and Piazza di Spagna in the ancient Campo Marzio neighborhood also known as "the foreigner's quarter". Via Margutta, which used to be home to modest craftsmen, workshops and stables, now hosts art galleries and fashionable restaurants. Becoming popular after the film "Roman Holiday", Via Margutta developed into an exclusive neighborhood, where various famous people used to live(such as film director Federico Fellini).

The apartment is on the fifth floor of an old building. It has a big living room, a small room- that's our baby space- kitchen, one bathroom, laundry room, balcony and the principal room. It is in a very comfortable attic (height 1,80m). The two sofas can also become two extra beds.
It's a warm small apartment with a well furnish kitchen and has everything that will let you fell at home. The environment is very clean and friendly and we will be very happy to make your stay in Rome comfortable and unforgettable!

We are a couple with a small daughter that moved to Rome 2 year ago for work. I am a Greek-born visual artist, my partner is an anthropologist specialised in fashion sociology, she is half Colombian-half Italian and our daughter is a small Roman happy girl. We travel a lot during the year, so we will be very happy to share our house with you.

If you have small kids but you still love to travel, this is the right place for you to stay in Rome. We will be very happy to host you and give you all help you need to enjoy this wonderful city.

Stare in via Margutta costa in tutti i sensi !!!!!

  • Miltos' loft in Rome is perfectly located, within a stone's throw to the Spanish steps and an abundance of bars and places to eat. The loft itself is spacious (we slept 4 of us) and was everything we needed for our first weekend in Rome.
The 5 flights of stairs were a bit of a mission but that aside we would def recommend anyone looking for location, location, location!

  • Gorgeous studio in what is arguably the most beautiful street in the nicest part of Rome's centre. Miltos was friendly and helpful - The experience left nothing to be desired.

  • The apartment is nice and is ideally situated in one of the most beautiful streets in Rome. The only drawback may be the lack of an elevator, but to be honest it isn't really an issue (aperol spritzes can fix that ^^)
Miltos is warm and helpful and full of recommendations if you need them, it was awesome stay.

  • My husband our baby boy and me had a nice stay at the apartment. The location is beautiful and very well located. For next time, a letter with all crucial information in english would be fantastic :) for all non italian speaking guests.

  • Catalina's flat is really amazing. We loved the style and the atmosphere there. We had everything we needed: kitchen with all accessories, wifi, balcony, PC. The flat in very central and it is aesy to find your way around in Rome from there.

  • The flat is lovely and cozy, I felt like at home! It is ideally located in the very center of Rome and at walking distance from everything!
I would definitely keep in mind this flat for my next visits to Rome!

  • we had a very nice time in Rome at Catalina's... the appartment is cosy and intimate, a good mix between simplicity, design and vintage. we loved the huge bed on the little loft, the light and the typical stairs to get in (five floors without lift like ours grand, very good after roman dinners). the bathroom is small but clean. via margutta is a jewel. definetly woud come back!
