One bedroom has a brand new double bed with door windows giving directly onto the inner courtyard.
The other larger bedroom has another double bed (brand new and comfy) and a single bed (electric) which is convenient if travelling with children or friends. This room does not have a view.
2 marble fireplaces and high ceilings with beautiful designs in this historical building.

Fully equipped kitchen with washer, dryer, stove fridge nespresso coffee machine, modern bathroom with bath and shower, internet, free phone to most countries, 160 TV channels in different languages including English,

I am in the tourism business. I know the town and area very well so I can give you the best tips to make you enjoy your stay. I run gourmet walking tours of Sète and Montpellier, and offer other culinary and wine experiences in the area.
Guests have access to the entire apartment (except my bedroom ) and patio. The flat is located on the first floor with no lift.
I consider myself as a flatmate when I have guests. They are welcome to use the kitchen and since there is only one bathroom, I consult them prior to using the facilities.
The apartment is in a historical building located in center town right by the canal. It is close to all the shops, restaurants. The rooms give onto an inner courtyard so it is very peaceful. .
My apartment is less that 10 minute walk from the train station and there is a bus stop in front of the building. Shuttles to the beaches are just a minute walk away.
Shannon and Velissa, my birman cats, are happy to have visitors. They are friendly, fluffy and well behaved.

We (couple and two kids) had a very pleasant stay at Nancys appartment. It is a very nice appartment, in a nice area and Nancy is very welcoming. When we are in the region we will definately come back. thanks Nancy!
Staying with Nancy is the perfect way to see Sète, considering she knows it like the back of her hand. Her apartment was also beautiful and in a fantastic location. It was really nice to have a lovely kitchen to prepare food in, something that you don't often get on a short vacation. My room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. I spent my mornings and afternoons out, but I was able to come back to the apartment to eat lunch because it was so close to many markets, museums and nice walks. I also was there for Halloween, and Nancy kindly invited me to her Halloween party, which had some really good food and good people. Thanks so much for everything, Nancy!
Well, the place is nice and cosy. And Nancy is a sweet woman though she doens't like tobacco and don't forget to remind you...
Also one should know there is only one bathroom in the apartment
The only real issue was the noise we could hear from the room (probably some kind of bar or club nearby, that plays daily and unfortunately pretty late and loud)
Apart from this, I would easily recommend this place
Absolutely gorgeous apartment.
It was a very pleasant stay at Nancy's place. Nancy is a very charming, uncomplicated and helpful host who knows Sète very well...especially the yummiest restaurants ; )! The apartment: no comment- because everything positive is said already about it!
Looking forward to the next time there.
Nancy is the most charming of hostesses and her description of her apartment as "best view in Sete" is an understatement. Sitting on her balcony overlooking the canal was one of the highlights of our summer.
You can stay here and rent the entire apartment (which, incidentally, is gorgeous) or just take a room and share the place with Nancy. We chose the latter and had slight reservations about whether we'd get under Nancy's feet and vice versa. There was, however, no problem at all. Nancy is the most considerate of people and works quietly away in her study, and our room was in the back of her very spacious apartment, so we had a lot of privacy - with direct access from our bedroom to her lovely back garden. Not that avoiding each other was a necessity. Nancy is such an intelligent and thoughtful person that it's a pleasure to engage her in conversation. She is also immensely knowledgeable about Sete and is more than willing to share her insights.
Some tips we learned from her and our own experience: the art museum is a revelation, oysters can be bought for five euro a kilo from the market (buy a knife for opening them before you travel), the place is a working port and therefore mercifully free of local poseurs and the vulgar tourists who gravitate to the Cote d'Azur. In short, we had a splendid three days.
Nancy's flat and hospitality live up to all expectations, but I would advise prospective guests to be extremely clear with her regarding bookings, arrival time and all other arrangements.
