$120K RENOVATION READY TO WELCOME YOU! Cottage on the Cove SENECA LAKE 4BR/2BA sleeps 8 with room inside and out to enjoy Lake Life. On the west side of Seneca, halfway between Geneva and Watkins Glen on the Wine Trail. Sunroom, wrap-around deck, dining patio, grill, fire pit, 2 kayaks, life vests/water shoes, large U-shaped dock on shallow water, boat & jet ski lift, several seating areas, quiet, nature, boat launch nearby at Severn Park. Dog-friendly w/fee. Families, friends & couples love it!

The space
The one-level cottage has an open concept sun room, living room and kitchen with an outdoor deck that surrounds the back of the house facing the lake. The main deck off the kitchen has a dining table with umbrella that seats six. There is a picnic table a few steps down the deck onto the lawn and under the maple tree and another 8-person dining set under an umbrella on the dock. Three bedrooms and a full bath are right off the main living area while the primary bedroom with en suite is at the end of the kitchen and has its own entrance/exit.

Guest access
You'll access the home beside the main parking spots with a hidden key in the lockbox. Enter through the sliding patio door into the sunroom. You have access to the entire property.

Other things to note
Cottage in the cove is a special place. Morning sunrises. Birds flying, ducks swimming and fish jumping. You are surrounded by old growth trees behind you and the beautiful lake in front of you. No need to leave the house (unless you want to visit some incredible wineries, microbreweries, distilleries, restaurants, ice cream stands, waterfalls, live music, boat tours, Watkins Glen races, etc). Oh, and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking a walk (or jog or bike ride) along the Keuka Outlet Trail.

Neighborhood highlights

In a very quiet HOA community called Hansen Harbor in Torrey named after the Hansen family who onced owned 3,000 of farm and homestead property from Route 14 to the water in this area. You'll find 5th 4th generation Chris Hansen is a co-owner of Climbing Bines Brewery at the top of the road. You will be on a long, dirt and private road and do not drive over 20 mph. I know this sounds crazy but, believe me, we don't want our neighbors to complain about the "renters" causing all the ruts in the road and especially on our hill. Please be respectful so we can keep operating. Thank you.

Hi! We are also super hosts but on Seneca. We have one home in Dundee and one in Torrey. Our houses are rented but we need to attend our road association meeting in Torrey and do chores at both home during Saturday’s flip. We will be joined by our 20-year old daughter and her friend, our 14-yo son, and our small dogs, Kona and Mochi. Thank you for your hospitality!
