The Space

Asian Influenced home in SE Portland just South of Mt. Tabor. Quiet tree lined street with plenty of parking.

There are 3 large bedrooms and a beautiful bathroom with a porcelain tub and shower.

Two of the bedrooms have super comfy Queen sized beds with pillow topped mattresses.

The third bedroom has a full sized bed with a pillow top mattress.

There are heaters and extra blankets in all the bedrooms for the nippy nights when you might want bit more warmth.

Each bedroom has a desk and office chair, some pens and a notebook. There's super high speed (30mbps) internet/wifi, and a walk in closet.

Guests often comment on my book collection; there are books to read in all the rooms, and a main library in the living room. The collection is primarily fiction, metaphysical, and travel books.

There is a full service kitchen with all the amenities, including microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, coffee grinder, blender, juicer and dishwasher.

There's usually a selection of teas and coffees available for your pleasure.

There is a spacious dining room area with an incredible Buddha statue from a temple in Vietnam.

The living room has 2 sofas and a plasma HDTV with cable and DVD, with a DVD library.

There is a patio, that is a wonderful place to sit and hang out, mostly in the summer, and a large backyard.

There is also a daylight basement, which is not part of the rental. Usually there are one or two people in that area. It has its own separate entrance and exit.

There are also 2 cats on the premises, who are indoor-outdoor and stay with the owner. They are not in the area you will be renting,.

There are some optional services available on request.

We can have you picked up at the airport and dropped off to my home for $30, any time day or night.

Massage therapy is available with notice, $65 an hour.

There is a washer/dryer in the downstairs area that can be used with a days notice. It's $5 a load, and that includes washer/dryer/detergent.

Many people who stay here just use public transportation. You can call or go to (URL HIDDEN) to find the schedules of buses. We have 2 main streets within a 2 minute walk to take you anywhere in the city. Buses usually run every 15 minutes.

There's plenty of free street parking right in front of the house, and a driveway where you can park your car off the street.

We are on the outer perimeter of the happening places in town, so you get the quiet along with easy proximity to wonderful dining and entertainment possibilities. This is the Southeast part of Portland.

There are many organic stores to shop within 15 minutes, and Trader Joe's is about 10 minutes away.

Guest Access

The whole upstairs is yours. There's a divider to the space downstairs. The patio in the backyard is a nice space to relax or read or work online.

Interaction with Guests

I love hanging out with guests when I am in town. I do have a busy schedule but I am generally around. Maybe we can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea on the back patio!

The Neighborhood

Mt. Tabor is a great place to hike, it's a 40 minute walk to the top and back to the house.
Rain or Shine is a coffee shop nearby.
Pizzicato is a great pizza place around the corner.
There's a sports bar, and a number of restaurants within walking distance.
Walmart is a 4 minute drive, and there's a great 10 film cineplex a 30 minute walk or 5 minute drive.

Plenty of buses within 5 minutes that run every 15 minutes.
Lots of bicycle paths.

I'm a health professional, interested in living a healthy, happy, long life.
At this point, i'm vegan, simple eating, but i love a place with a kitchen i can use. And the ideal place has a bathtub!
I also host my home in Portland, and have met some incredible people.
I currently am the CEO of the All About Health Network, an e-commerce business dedicated to promoting the benefits of massage and body rolling.
i was an avid rock climber until i realized it was beginning to jeopardize my dancing career (post modern). I teach yoga, yamuna body rolling, soul motion, all easy forms of moving your body and staying healthy.
I've taught everything from 6th grade Earth Science to College Health Science to Couples Massage.
