Interaction with guests

I (Scott) work in the Hospitality industry, and usually work from the mid afternoon through the late evening. My roommate (Rachel) works in Wine Sales, and usually works more regular "9am to 5pm" daytime hours. What this generally means is that we are both rarely home at the same time, so you'll have the place to yourself quite often (which is nice when you live in NYC). That being said, I'm always readily available by text or e-mail to assist with any questions that you may have during your stay.

Other things to note

The rates for my room rental are very affordably priced so that you can spend more on New York's many amazing restaurants, stores, and attractions:

• Standard room rates (April 1st through June 30th and October 1st through December 31st) are $54 per night for single occupancy and $74 for double occupancy.

• Summer room rates (July 1st through September 30th) are $59 per night for single occupancy and $79 for double occupancy.

• Winter room rates (January 1st through March 30th) are $49 per night for single occupancy and $69 for double occupancy.

Scott's place is in a cool Williamsburg location a short walk from the J-Line. I had a great stay. Good communications when they were needed, but they weren't really needed. Recommended.

I didn't really see Scott because of his work schedule but he made sure I had more than enough information to check in my self. He was very flexible with the check out time and had several small touches that really made my stay stress free and comfortable. And the location is just a short walk to the J and M trains. I would definitely stay here again!

Scott was an amazing host! He was great with communication as he touched base multiple times, gave great advice on places to visit and where to eat near by. He is super detailed oriented and thoughtful with all the maps and helpful direction that he provided to us. The only opportunity is cleanliness, as floors were quite dusty and were not suitable for my allergies...(but take this as a grain of salt since I'm a clean freak and have high standards when it comes to cleanliness!) Overall great, convenient location and such a comfy bed!! His cats are also super adorable <3

Scott's place was exactly what I was looking for - an affordable place in a great part of Brooklyn. there's tons of diversity in this neighborhood and basically everything you need is within walking distance. I didn't get to meet Scott, but he was friendly and helpful over text message. I'd stay here again for sure!

I've been working in the hospitality industry for almost 15 years, so Air BnB seems like a pretty natural fit for me. Did I mention that I'm very fond of my cats?
