Newly refurbished appartment in the centre of Rome, with two gorgeous, light and spacious rooms, complete with double beds, wardrobes and desks, and two private bathrooms with washbasin and shower, just a short walk from the most important sightseeings of the city and Termini Station where the trains from the Fiumicino Airport drops off, the location is extremely convenient for a quiet yet connected visit to Rome.
10 minutes on foot from the Trevi fountain and Spanish steps, 5 minutes on foot from Termini and Repubblica metro stations (line A) and Castro Pretorio (line B). Bus stops providing easy access to the Colluseum and Piazza Venezia situated only 150m from the apartment.
You can reach the Vatican in only 15 minutes with the metro or by bus from Termini Station.
It is a short walk to a supermarket, a great pizza spot, restaurants, gelato spot, McDonald's, pubs and a metro stop that could easily take you to all the main attractions if you didn't feel like walking. Everyone likes to stay near the train station, but this is just the perfect distance away.
Its a perfect place to stay near Roma Termini. Nothing to complain everything was perfect and fine. Very Nice Room!
Location is excellent- only 5-6 minutes walk from the Terminale and 20 min walk to the city. It is also 30 meters from an excellent little market.Leonardo was very quick and responsive with the feedback and his assistant Kit was very good to deal with. She offered excellent advice about where to go and how to travel and was generally very helpful. The rooms were excellent, good size and great view with private bathrooms. Very good value for money with the only draw back being no elevator so lugging 25kg suitcases up 4 stories might not be for everyone. Would definitely stay again.
Great location near Termini station and the Rome open bus tours from the Piazza della Repubblica. Leonardo and his wife Tersia were perfect hosts as was their very helpful assistant Kit. Spacious bedroom with a comfortable bed and associated private bathroom, plus a kitchen shared with the other bedroom in the flat - great for swapping travel tips about Rome! Note there are approx three flights of stairs to carry luggage up. Thanks for a great time Leonardo!
The neighborhood of this airbnb was great, right near Termini Station. However, the metro and a few buses were on strike the weekend I was there so I couldn't use the full amenities of the neighborhood. We ended up walking everywhere and not using transportation once. If we could've utilized the transportation I'm sure it would have been even better. This host was welcoming even though we didn't see him, his assistants were very helpful. Breakfast wasn't much but it nice to have, there was a great little bakery down the road. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the Wifi. It worked about 30% of the time. Most of our Wifi-use took place in the cafes before we headed back for the night so don't expect it to work well. Not a huge problem, but if you are someone that expects it to work then just a heads up.
Very close to the termini station and super convenient to stay! With a big private bathroom!
Leonardo's appartment was exactly as described. It took us approx. 10 minutes to walk to the appartment from Termini, it was easy to find and situated in an agreeable, safe neighbourhood. The metro is very closeby which makes it easy to go to the Vatican for instance. We were also able to walk most of the distances to all of the highlights such as the Piazza Navona, Spanish steps, etc. So location was perfect for us!
Room itself is as described, it's spacious with a good bed and enough space to store clothes, etc. The bathroom is simple and everything is very clean, only disadvantage is that if someone is taking a shower in the other bathroom, the water pressure becomes very low. We could also use the kitchen, which was very convenient since cutlery, plates, etc. were all present. We even got a breakfast two out of three mornings, a pleasant surprise for us.
Appartment is situated on the third floor which you'll have to walk up, for us this was not a problem at all and Leonardo was willing to help with the luggage if needed.
All in all we were very happy with the place and if we'd visit Rome again we'd surely consider this place again.
