Beautiful LOFT located in a quiet pedestrian street in the heart of bohemian barrio Alameda de Hercules, which is full of life (it's my favourite neighborhood in Seville) and you can find a market (to buy fruits and vegetables a day, fish and meat), Chinese shops (open from 9 am to 23 pm) cafes, bar (where you can eat "tapas"), banks, etc.
It is 15 minutes walking to the main monuments (Cathedral, Torre del Oro). The river is about 5 minutes walk.
All the rooms are equipped with wooden floor and due to its loft-style design the flat is very bright and roomy.
The bathroom is separated from the rest of the house by a sliding door with a translucent panel
1 bathroom,American kitchen,living room,mezzanine sleeping area,Fridge,internet wi-fi.air conditioning
2 people,25 m2.
This neighborhood is called the Alameda for being around the Alameda de Hercules, square which is full of life with its bars, tapas, coffee shops, concerts. In the 90's the neighborhood had a change at all levels and were rehabilited all old house and began to be occupied by artists and bohemians of Seville, from being a slum to be a neighborhood where live many social classes and where everybody knows everybody.Proximity to old town makes this neighborhood one of the most attractive for those who want to explore the city and know the essence and the manners people Sevilla. In this neighborhood will find many bars where people gather to have a beer and socialize
Areas to emphasize in the neighborhood
-Feria Street : is the main street of this area, because is full of people, many shops, bars, Chinese shops, fast food, there's a food market where you can buy fruits, meats and fish of the (website hidden) the back part there is a bar where you can have breakfast or have a beer with fried fish .You have to ask for the "bar of the market"
-Antiquies market( only On Thursday) is a market that places on the Feria street where selling antiques, books and many curious objects
Restaurants and tapas bars:
-La Madraza (Peris Mencheta street): Mediterranean food restaurant where you can also eat tapas and wine at a good price. There is an air conditioning and it is lighty and cool local
-Calatrava Street: This street has many bars from the beginning (starting at Barqueta Bridge) to the end (Alameda de Hercules) Many bars have free seating in the open air .I recommend you always choose the bars where there are more people
-Casa Paco (Alameda de Hercules) many "tapas" nice price and outdoor seating in the middle of Alameda de Hercules
-Contenedor (SanLuis street): very cool restaurant with artistic decoration and good food and good wine. The price is a bit higher than another
-La azotea ( Jesus del Gran Poder street): excellent restaurant with a very good kitchen and wine. The only thing is that the place is very difficult to find a free table because its small
-La cacharreria (Regina street): bar very small but very nice with a special breakfast with toast, juices and fruit and located on Calle Regina, attractive pedestrian shopping street
-Cafe Hercules (Peris Mencheta street)
-Café Piola (Alameda de Hércules)
-Alameda de Hercules :many bars to have a breakfast in the open air
I always recommend that you buy the Giraldillo wich sell in any newstand. Its a monthly magazine where you can know the most important events of the month (concerts, flamenco, exhibitions, museums etc.)
Too is highly recommend the free magazine "Yuzin"
Flamenco La carboneria (Calle Levies, 18) Flamenco free daily

Our stay was short but great.
Because of me Oscar didn't even now at what time we would arrive but he welcomed us really sponateous nice. He showed us the appartment, gave us the key and a map and explained us everything we wanted to know about the city. Oscar had to clean up the apartment but we could alreay leave our luggage there and when we came back we saw that he had done a great job cleaning up everything!
The apartment is located in a really nice, a bit alternative part of Sevilla so that we felt like seeing what it's really like to live there, even for just one night. And it's in a walking distance from the real center and a lot of sights and shops and cute parts of Sevilla.
Thank you Oscar and we jope, we didn't disturb you, leaving so early!
We spent 3 nights (april 2014) at Oscar's mini loft and we had a great time ! The neighbourhood is really nice, a lot of nice bars, terrasses, tapas bars, places to have a breakfast, a little covered market (really nice to have a beer, some tapas or fresh vegetables and even some sushis). The flat is about 10 minutes walk from Plaza Mayor and 15-20 minutes from the Cathedral. It's not in the center of Sevilla but for us, it was a pleasure to walk back across the little sevillan streets and have a good night of sleep in a quiet neighbourhood. Oscar is a great host and guided us at our arrival. He showed us places to hang out and it was really nice ! He made us feel welcomed, it was a pleasure. The flat is perfect for 2 young people (we are 30 years old) who don't expect luxury (it's a really good value for the price). It was clean and comfy and the little balcony is nice. We recommend!
Very nice place.Great neighborhood. Oscar was very nice and gave us good advices. That's it, i recommend it.
Nice mini-loft in a quiet street. The area of Macarena is really wonderfull and we enjoyed our 5 days in this flat in Sevilla ! We recommand this mini loft, cheap and comfortable !

Myself and my boyfriend stayed in Seville for 3 nights. The apartment was perfect for two people in a great location. We got a real sense of Seville. Oscar was a great host, really helpful and friendly. The airport pick up service he provided was great also. Would definitely stay again :)
Oscar was an absolutely lovely host. He met us in front of the place, hopped in our car and helped us find parking! He then proceeded to give us a great dinner recommendation, a map of the city and his tips on where the best free flamenco show was. The loft was perfect and in an amazing neighbourhood! We had an incredible time in Seville!!
We had a great stay in Seville. Oscar was a good host, picked us up at the airport for €15 and brought us straight to the apartment pointing out important sights along the way. He was very helpful in recommending places to eat and what to see. The apartment was just what we needed. It was a very nice, sunny apartment and was about a 10-25 walk from everything we wanted to see (parasol, cathedral, alcazar, etc.). Overall it was a perfect few days in Seville!
Close to La Macarena, (not Seville old town), if you want a taste of local life. Cosy and clean. Shower room is European EXTRA small, if you are a big guy then you got a problem. Oscar is friendly and nice to talk to. Good experience here. Oh, make sure you check all the supplies before letting him go, he forgot to leave us toilet paper. LOL.
great host, oscar is very friendly and he quickly shown us good place to eat, drink ... and he took us by car from the airport to the appartment for a good price: very easy after a day travel day!
The appartment is cosy and clean and the neighborhood is really lively!
