We had an amazing time in Cabo at this condo. Everything was prepared when we arrived, it was easy to find, comfortable, and a great value.
All of our adventure tour drivers knew exactly where this condo was located and it was just a short drive to downtown. Great location, super friendly staff. Clean and great views.
From the moment I inquired about this listing, Marie and Jean-Baptiste were very prompt and kind answering all of my questions! From everything to what to eat around the area, to transportation, to activities to do. The listing was just as described. A very cute, cozy, and comfortable condo with a great view! The bed was very comfortable as well, made us feel very at home! :) We loved everything about the stay. The pool bar was wonderful--Andres was our bartender for most of the week, and he was great! Very nice guy--and made a great margarita! The pool bar prices were awesome too. You can get a taco (fish, chicken, and some other (email hidden)e fish taco was the best fish taco I've ever had!) for $2, and a Pacifico beer for $2. All prices were very reasonable. The beach was nice, but I would say we only went down once or twice because it was such rough water that you definitely cannot swim in it. Very pretty though! We spent most of our time at one of the 2 pools, which were both beautiful, but the infinity pool overlooking the arches was our favorite! Truly like something out of a movie. It was surreal! The condo had everything you needed cooking wise, so that was very nice to have. Just get some groceries for the week, and you're good to go! The area is great, you can take a $1 bus ride per person into town to get the "downtown Cabo" experience. It was fun to explore the town, get souvenirs, and walk the marina. We took a few excursions from the marina, too, which I would recommend doing. (Just google Cabo tour companies!) If you're looking for a quiet, relaxed, safe area with a comfortable and affordable condo with a great view, I would highly recommend staying here!
Marie was very informative prior to us getting there, which I needed because I hadn't been to Cabo before. Their place is wonderful and perfect for our needs. It was so close to everything yet far enough away from some of the other more populated resorts. The security guard knew which condo apartment we needed to go to even without us getting the number correct. I was surprised with how it easy it all was. The apartment is well stocked and pretty and very very comfortable. We loved having Netflix for the evenings. It was exactly the relaxing time we looked for. Thanks!
We just returned from Cabo San Lucas and I cannot say enough about this condo. It was truly relaxing and just as described! We found it to be the perfect size for the two of us. It was great to have access to beach chairs and an umbrella, a full kitchen all the essentials. We enjoyed the Wifi and Netflix!
There are 2 pools (one that you can see from the balcony) and another on the opposite side of the building with an infinity style view to the Sea of Cortez and the Arch, which is outstanding. Both pools are a great size and neither were crowded when we visited. The closer pool has a bar that is open from about 12-8 everyday and is very reasonably priced. They also have a small grill that sells tacos and other snacks. The bartender is super friendly and helpful if you have any questions! The private beach behind the complex is a 5 minute walk (including some stairs), but offers a beautiful view of the Sea. It is definitely rocky, so you have to be cautious, but we had no problems at all. There were some people in the water, but we only waded in about waist deep. It was so quiet and a really beautiful view!
The property has a concierge who can help you book excursions, or order a pizza, which we did both! He called a couple places for us to check availability and gave us $20 off our tour. (We went on the Tropicat Jazz and Wine Sunset Cruise. It wasn't too crowded or rowdy and included people of all ages.) There are taxis available all day every day (parked onsite) to take you where you need to go. It costs $20 USD each way to go to the downtown marina area and back. Next time we will definitely rent a car! You can park downtown at the mall parking garage and walk to wherever you need to go, or drive to Santa Carmela Market or Wal Mart for food and supplies.
There is a very small market and restaurant at the Sunrock hotel that accepts USD, pesos and credit cards (1 minute walk up the road) where you can buy water, some drinks and snacks. The cafe owner is very nice and the food is great for traditional Mexican breakfast or lunch. We ate there 3 times because it was so convenient for a close and quick breakfast! We also walked next door to Sunset Mona Lisa for a stunning view of the sunset along with drinks and dinner. Make reservations for the restaurant, or just walk in at their upstairs bar, Sunset Point.
This was our first trip to Cabo and we would definitely stay here again! It was exactly the way it looks in pictures, so relaxing and a great value!
One suggestion: go to Hacienda Cocina y Cantina for dinner. The food and setting are incredible!
We had an amazing anniversary trip. The condo was just as described, and many aspects of the property were better than expected. The condo itself is comfortable and clean and the views of the ocean and private pool from the balcony are great. The living room provided a relaxing spot to drink coffee in the mornings and watch Netflix movies to end the evenings. The kitchen was also a big plus, as we made our own food and drinks after making a stop by Santa Carmela, a local market. (It's a 15-20 minute walk that requires going up the half-mile entrance road and crossing the Highway; a bit dangerous but just the way it works. You can also catch a $1 bus ride each way instead of carrying all your groceries, once you reach the highway.) Highlights: The private pool and swim-up bar is amazing—the bartenders, father Pepe and son Andres, were very friendly and the drinks were delicious and cheap ($6 margaritas, $2 beers); the food on the grill is simple but also great for the price; the private beaches were just as described, quiet and beautiful; and the best part is the property sits next to the best restaurant in all of Cabo, the Sunset de Mona Lisa. While it's pricey, the food (Italian mostly) was incredible and the views are unmatched. Adjoined to a pizza restaurant. we went three nights in a row because of the stunning views, excellent food and welcoming service—and because it was just a 2-minute walk from the room. We didn't bother with cabs into town because of the price ($20-plus each way we were told), but the $1 bus ride was relatively simple and obviously a good deal. It's about a 10-minute drive. There was some construction going on at Misones, as well as a nearby resort slated for the fall, but it wasn't an issue except the last day—a couple guys with jackhammers pounded away for hours. Overall, though, we had a fantastic time. Jose at the front desk was very friendly and helped us work out a late checkout to wait for our shuttle back to the airport. Thank you, Marie and Jean-Baptiste, for letting us stay in your home!
Our experience was a good one. The private little beach is wonderful, and it is right next to Sunset Des Mona Lisa, a great restaurant with the best view of the city.
Marie and JB were excellent hosts. Prompt with questions and concerns they made this trip a very rewarding experience. The condo had ample parking and a beautiful secluded beach with lots of fish only minutes away. Unlike a typical a 'resort' style location this property offered lots of privacy and a chill/low-key atmosphere. For those looking to surf it is a great location as it's only 15 minute drive from some of amazing breaks. Additionally, this stay coincided with a CAT 4 hurricane just off the coast. At no time did I feel threatened or unsafe.
