ALL MEALS INCLUDED IN THE RATES. Both pick up and drop off by boat from your ferry are also included in the rates. Unforgettable village hospitality, beachfront bungalow, impeccable white sand beach with small islands off the coast, on a remote unspoilt Nacula island in Yasawa. Up to 4 adults or a family with 2-3 kids can stay in our bungalows. THIS IS ONE OF THE ONLY 4 OFFICIAL LISTINGS FOR YASAWA HOMESTAYS (TRADITIONAL BEACHFRONT BURES), THE OTHER ARE IN MY PROFILE.

The space
Go for a genuine experience, beat classic tourist resorts on Yasawa. This is one of the very few homestays in Fiji located in a very attractive island setting. Our villages are immersed in a remote, unspoilt and breathtakingly beautiful environment. This is a unique, FIJIAN VILLAGE homestay project, not a touristic, resort-style accomodation. Once you arrive to the village, you become part of the village. This also means: in case you experience some inconvenience during your stay, please do not hold onto it but TALK to village people. We will immediately take care of nearly all your requests! The village life in Fiji and the overall environment is probably starkly different from where you come from. If you are not prepared to hear a rodent during the night, or you can faint on the sight of gecko clinging on the roof of your bungalow, or you can't sleep without hot showers - consider staying in any of the plenty Western style resorts in Fiji.

Where you’ll be

Nacula Island, Western Division, Fiji

An exceptional island setting perfect for relaxation and active holidays with white sand beaches, kayaks and surf boards are available in the village. Hilly and lush interior excellent for hiking. Navotua village is located very close to the famous Sawa-i-Lau sea cave where fresh and salty water mix with different chambers to explore. Malakati village is great for surfing and close to a bigger village (Nacula village, named after the island itself) with a high school to visit. Naisisili village has some very fine snorkeling spots and is close to a resort which can serve cold drinks. Taven homestay is a new private homestay that gives you more attention and hospitality than the other communal homestays. At least two tiny uninhabited islands around our Nacula island are waiting for your picnic.

During your stay

Feel free to roam around the village, socialize and ask anything you need help about. The native Fijian people will attend to your meals. This is a perfect chance to get to know locals in our small, friendly and always-laughing island. Interact, learn, relax - all local style. Hint: do not miss friendly kava sessions in the evening.
