This home is in a quiet area.
The Balance studio is an invitation to embrace mindfulness & reconnect with nature. It has a double bed with a matrimonial mattress, and a pull out sofa that can be enjoyed as a place to sit or a friend or child to sleep. It also has a lockable connecting door to the Serenity Studio that can be used for friends traveling together or parents with kids. The unit has an internet TV

The space
This studio is on the first floor and is 1 of 4 units we have on our property. That means you can rent multiple units if you'd like to have a friend or family gathering. However if it's just you, you have plenty of privacy.

We live on the second floor with our family, dogs and cats and we also have a large yoga studio onsite called Heart & Flow Yoga, where you can book a private class with the owner who is an instructor.

Guest access
Guests can use the pool, pool rancho and outdoor kids play area. Please ask for assistance if you need to use the laundry machine.

Other things to note
1. There are 4 friendly but protective dogs onsite, but they do not go into the units. This does mean there is some barking in the morning before their walk or if someone new comes to the property.

2. You need a car to stay here. It's a long walk to the beach and oftentimes taxis have a hard time finding us. We're off the beaten path, but it's worth it once you find us.

3. You're welcome to UPGRADE your experience into a healing RETREAT for yourself or group.

* a private yoga class for $65

*an onsite bodywork and healing treatment starting at $75/hour with the owner, who has 25 years of massage experience.

Costa Rica

We are located in "Forestales de Marcela", a gated area off the Monkey Trail in Potrero and about 5 minutes from the beach.

You do need a car to stay here.

The studio itself does not have ocean view, but if you go to the top of our yard there is ocean view.

We are Adam & Harriet and we are the creators and owners of The Lanktuary. We live onsite with our 2 young children and collection of dogs and cats. We also have an onsite private yoga studio where we host classes and workshops Harriet is a massage therapist and yoga instructor and Adam is a master of the Now from NC, and he currently builds spec homes in the area..
