The place and the hosts were excellent! They were incredibly relaxed yet accommodating. And were able to assist with very last minute booking request. Highly recommended !
Nice friendly household, in a good location being less than 10 mins walk into the centre. The room is very comfy with the use of a private bathroom as well. Made to feel very welcome.
Alan and Diane made us wonderfully welcome in their lovely home. By the end of our three nights we felt more like friends than guests. The room and beds were comfortable and we had our own private bathroom. The chickens in the garden were also very friendly! The location is excellent for exploring Lincoln, just 10 minutes stroll up the road takes you directly into the Cathedral Quarter, no need to take the car or bus. Although the road the house stands on is quite busy during the day, by night everything quietens down and our sleep wasn't disturbed despite having the windows open. If/when we return to Lincoln we'll definitely hope to stay with Alan and Diane (and the chickens) again.
Alan and Diane were excellent hosts and I had a wonderful weekend in Lincoln . They made me feel so welcome and had fantastic local knowledge. The house itself is in a fantastic location a really quiet lovely road and 10 minutes walk into the heart of the city. My room was a great size , spotless and so comfy . I Will definitely be returning and can't recommend the hosts highly enough thank you so much Alan and Diane
Alan was prompt in communication and really helpful with our slightly unusual arrangements! He made our colleague Dan feel very welcome and we'd definitely recommend his accommodation in Lincoln.
Alan was a most charming host - his wife Diane was away at the time. He made me feel most welcomed. The room was very comfortable & warm & I was extremely grateful that it was on the ground floor as I do have a 'back' problem! I really liked having 'real' home grown eggs for breakfast - the wee chickens in the back garden were a bonus. I thoroughly enjoyed his company & the conversations we shared. It was far better than staying in some bog standard 'quick fix' hotel & far & away better value.
