Our Serenity studio has a queen size bed, individual sized sofa bed, a stocked kitchen, a bathroom & private patio, making it a lovely option for an individual, a couple or a parent(s) with a child. The unit has internet TV and good wifi. The space has a lockable connecting door to the Balance Studio that can be used if you’re traveling as a larger family, but you also have plenty of privacy during your stay.

The space
The Serenity studio is on the first floor and is 1 of 4 units we have on our property. That means you can rent multiple units if you'd like to have a friend or family gathering. However if it's just you, you have plenty of privacy.

We live on the second floor with our family, dogs and cats and we also have a large yoga studio onsite called Heart & Flow Yoga, where you can book a private class with the owner who is an instructor.

Guest access
Guests can use the pool, pool rancho and outdoor kids play area. Please ask for assistance if you need to use the laundry machine.

Other things to note
1. There are 4 friendly but protective dogs onsite, but they do not go into the units. This does mean there is some barking in the morning before their walk or if someone new comes to the property.

2. You need a car to stay here. It's a long walk to the beach and oftentimes taxis have a hard time finding us. We're off the beaten path, but it's worth it once you find us.

3. You're welcome to UPGRADE your experience into a healing RETREAT for yourself or group.

Guests can enjoy the following add-ons with advanced notice:

* a private yoga class for $65

*an onsite bodywork and healing treatment starting at $75/hour with the owner, who has 25 years of massage experience.

Where you’ll be

Costa Rica

We are located in "Finca La Marcela", a gated community with a guard. We are near Potrero central and off the Monkey Trail, about 5 minutes from the beach.

You need a car to stay here.

The studio itself does not have ocean view, but if you go to the top of our yard there is an ocean view.

We are Adam & Harriet and we are the creators and owners of The Lanktuary. We live onsite with our 2 young children and collection of dogs and cats. We also have an onsite private yoga studio where we host classes and workshops Harriet is a massage therapist and yoga instructor and Adam is a master of the Now from NC, and he currently builds spec homes in the area..
