  • On a previous visit to SF my friend and I stayed at Anne's other Mission space and had such a wonderful experience that we didn't even consider other options and stayed in Anne's Open Plan Mission Studio on our most recent visit to SF. The space is small but so thoughtfully organized and furnished and filled with fresh air and sunlight from the huge windows that the size was never an issue. Valencia Blvd and its shops and restaurants are only a few blocks away as is the Mission St. BART station and tons of people watching and fresh produce. Anne is beyond gracious and went out of her way to make our visit perfect.

  • We enjoyed staying in Anne's studio. It was comfortable, quiet, and in a great location. I highly recommend it for a taste of living like a local in The Mission. I hope to return someday!

  • We fell in love with this cosy little apartment. It's ideally situated on a quiet street but in walking distance of Valencia and Mission. It boasts great light and is set back off the street so isn't overlooked. Anne was the perfect host; super helpful and did everything to make our stay as easy as possible. We'd absolutely stay again.

  • Great location: nice quiet street, but close to Mission St and BART station. The apartment is very typical for old SF house, so good if you're going to that kind of authentic experience. Nice afternoon light through large front windows. Unit is set back from street enough that they can be open and still feel private.

  • Our San Francisco experience was authentic due in part to our stay at Anne's flat in the Mission district. It was clean and as advertised with an exceptionally comfortable bed. The compact space was perfect for the two of us for our four day stay. Anne checked in with us when we arrived to ensure everything was in order. The little bench in the front yard was a nice spot for morning reflection. The local bar was freindly, corner store was convenient and the sun was shining!

  • WE stayed in the little cozy studio with our little girl (2 months) and really enjoyed it. It is very well located if you like the Mission. The front yard catches some sun and you can sit there on a quiet street not far away from bars and restaurants.

  • Anne's apartment was cute, in a wonderful location and had everything we needed. For the area and the price, it's a great deal.

One thing to note: the bed is a piece of work. It's slanted in the middle, essentially creating a V shape, which isn't super comfortable for sleeping. Looking under the bed, we discovered that it is jerry-rigged for stability. My #1 and only complaint about our stay here. But, for the pice, location, and hospitality, Anne's place was great.

    Response from Anne:

The bed in this apartment is a good quality west elm bed. Our contractor added additional central supports which corrected any problem. We welcome suggestions from our guests and request that we be informed of any problem immediately so that we have the opportunity to resolve it.

  • Anne's studio is in a great location in the Mission. It's a quiet and pretty street, but close to the busy and fun 24th and Mission. Anne was quick to respond to our enquiries and met us at the door after our flight got us in much later than expected. I did find the studio a little cold in the mornings (there's a heater but not super warm) so I'd recommend having some warm PJs. The bed was comfy and warm.

  • We stayed for four nights and the studio was nice, clean and in a great location. Although BART the train system was on strike, there were still plenty of bus stops around to get you to the city. It is a studio so it is quite small but that suited us fine. Anne was available if needed and the pick up and drop off of keys was hassle free.
The studio did smell a little bit musty but nothing too bad, it maybe just needs a good air out.
