We stayed in David's apartment for 4 weeks during the Sunshine Tour. An absolutely lovely apartment/house! all you needed was available and the old charm of it was immense. Would definetely stay again! Many thanks David for letting us borrow your house.
A really nice house tucked away in the old quarter of the town. I've been coming to Vejer for years now as I love the atmosphere in the town and the people are so friendly. This little house is a gem of a find only minutes from Plaza Espana but in a quiet street. Everything was as stated in the description of the house, it was comfy, well equipped and furnished. Wonderful views from the terraces. An ideal base from which to explore the Costa de la Luz. I am already looking forward to staying here again next year!
We spent two marvellous weeks in Vejer de la Frontera!
It´s such a amazing village. We felt moved back to the Middle Ages. It´s really a difference to visit Vejer for some hours like I did it before or to live really in the beautiful white town, from sunrise to sunset.
Davids´ house looked like in the photos. Really cozy with many moorish details! It´s ideal for two persons. The house is perfectly situated in the old town of Vejer. Within walking a few steps you can reach the most important places in town. There are many restaurants nearby.
Be careful with the slopes by parking your car!
There are many beautiful beaches arround. We loved the beach in El Palmar most! By car it´s about 15-20 minutes away. You can walk hours by hours at the very clean beach.
There are so many interesting places to discover, for example Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz, Tarifa, Bolonia, Conil etc. The perfect destination to combine culture with relaxing or practicing sports at the beach.
I´ve been various times at the Costa de la Luz and sure I will come back to my favourite place in Spain!
We stayed in David's apartment Casa Carmela for just under a week.
We found the apartment to be a perfect size for two people and had all the amenities to make life easy to cook and wash while on holiday.
The apartment was spotless and the terrace is a wonderful addition for the sun worshippers.
The town itself is more suited to a couple than young guys/girls but that's to be expected. I'd go back with a partner
I went to Vejer de la Frontera in April 2009 on a whim while visiting friends in Barcelona. It was love at first sight. I returned in January 2010 for a two week intensive Spanish course at the language school in the village. ((website hidden))By April 2010 I was back looking for a house to buy and in November 2010my dream came true with the purchase of this special house which is now my home in Andalucia. I hope that you'll enjoy it as much as I do.
