Stayed at this great little house in the old quarter again for 3 weeks. David contacted me to make sure all was ok and it was! All amenities and home comforts as stated- Internet was also available. The house is located on a quiet pedestrian street which has undergone recent renovation. Great views from the rear terrace to Barbate and Morocco. I love coming to this town every year for the fiestas and the friendly people of Vejer who make you so welcome wherever you go- I'm definitely coming back again to Casa Carmela! Tks David!

A really nice house tucked away in the old quarter of the town. I've been coming to Vejer for years now as I love the atmosphere in the town and the people are so friendly. This little house is a gem of a find only minutes from Plaza Espana but in a quiet street. Everything was as stated in the description of the house, it was comfy, well equipped and furnished. Wonderful views from the terraces. An ideal base from which to explore the Costa de la Luz. I am already looking forward to staying here again next year! Thanks David

We spent two marvellous weeks in Vejer de la Frontera! It´s such a amazing village. We felt moved back to the Middle Ages. It´s really a difference to visit Vejer for some hours like I did it before or to live really in the beautiful white town, from sunrise to sunset. Davids´ house looked like in the photos. Really cozy with many moorish details! It´s ideal for two persons. The house is perfectly situated in the old town of Vejer. Within walking a few steps you can reach the most important places in town. There are many restaurants nearby. Be careful with the slopes by parking your car! There are many beautiful beaches arround. We loved the beach in El Palmar most! By car it´s about 15-20 minutes away. You can walk hours by hours at the very clean beach. There are so many interesting places to discover, for example Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz, Tarifa, Bolonia, Conil etc. The perfect destination to combine culture with relaxing or practicing sports at the beach. I´ve been various times at the Costa de la Luz and sure I will come back to my favourite place in Spain!

We stayed in David's apartment Casa Carmela for just under a week. We found the apartment to be a perfect size for two people and had all the amenities to make life easy to cook and wash while on holiday. The apartment was spotless and the terrace is a wonderful addition for the sun worshippers. The town itself is more suited to a couple than young guys/girls but that's to be expected. I'd go back with a partner

Great stay. Close to the beach, beautiful village, nice people. What more can you ask for? Thank you David for letting us use your home. Hope to be back soon.

I went to Vejer de la Frontera in April 2009 on a whim while visiting friends in Barcelona. It was love at first sight. I returned in January 2010 for a two week intensive Spanish course at the language school in the village. (URL HIDDEN) April 2010 I was back looking for a house to buy and in November 2010my dream came true with the purchase of this special house which is now my home in Andalucia. I know that you'll enjoy it as much as I do.
