Our studio with kitchenette is nestled in the heart of the Whiteaker neighborhood. A bustling and eccentric urban area in Eugene that is packed with breweries and restaurants . It's also close to downtown, Autzen stadium, Sweet Life and the river.

The space

Our 320 sq. ft. cottage is an efficient studio. Two fit comfortably in a queen bed with an additional sofa twin bed for a child. It's situated in Eugene's oldest neighborhood. Esquire magazine calls it "one of the weirdest neighborhoods in America". It's a mix of bohemian vibe, urban funk and hippy love. Within a 5 minute walk, you'll find Ninkasi (local beer brewery), Territorial (a local winery), Vanilla Jill's (a local organic frozen yogurt co.), Sam Bond's garage (a bar/venue for amazing shows), PRI (the most unusual pizza you'll ever try), Meiji (japanese pub), Mame sushi (a new hole in the wall that serves world class sushi), a host of traditional mexican and thai restaurants, and of course, my bakery, Sweet Life Patisserie.
The river is a short jaunt, as well as most places in Eugene as it is centrally located. On street parking and bus stops right out front.
Keep in mind, this cottage is located in the center of a busy neighborhood. You'll often hear music from the local venues at night and an occasional rowdy bunch in the park next door. The energy of the neighborhood is festive and unique. There is also no AC.
The cottage has a bath with shower, a fully stocked kitchenette with fridge and hotplate, and a queen sized memory foam mattress. There is also a 4 person hot tub with access to a beautiful deck.
Locally roasted organic coffee and assorted teas provided.
I live in the big house, so don't hesitate to call me with questions or concerns. Thanks

Wonderful, cozy cottage amid a flower filled yard. We would have happily spent a couple days here. We also loved that we could walk many places (yoga, music store, restaurants) from here. Plus checkin/checkout was a breeze.

Catherine's cute Eugene cottage was the perfect place for our weekend trip. It's on an adorable street, walking distance from some great restaurant and bar options. The garden is so beautiful! The cottage itself is perfectly clean and fresh. We had everything we needed. Check-in was a breeze with the door code.

Wow. This cottage is a gem!!! You're in for a treat at this comfy spot in the heart of Eugene's most eclectic neighborhood. The locals are certainly a lively bunch, but the vibe is inclusive. You might want to consider another neighborhood if walking alone at night already makes you nervous.

Catherine's place was great! It's a quirky little neighborhood, but exactly what we had hoped for! There's food and shops literally around the corner, though there is little to no outside noise. Catherine's spirit was great as well. When we arrived, she was singing in her kitchen and cooking (or possible baking) with the doors wide open. All in all, Catherine and her place were refreshing, upbeat and clean. Would definitely stay again!

Catherine's place is in a great location in Eugene. The neighborhood is very vibrant with loads of places to grab a bite to eat or a beer. The cottage was very well appointed and a lovely place to stay. We were sad to only have been there for one night!

I've lived in the Whiteaker neighborhood in Eugene for 25 years and own a patisserie with my sister. I enjoy dancing, gardening and running my business.
