We Loved this unique rental! This was a fantastic find and perfect for our needs! (4 adults and 2 teens) It is walking distance to everything we needed/wanted to do in Tamarindo! Watching the howler monkeys each morning (about 5:15am) in the trees right outside our porch was incredible! Enjoyed the sounds of relaxing live music entertainment from a close by restaurant in the evening (they only played only until about 9pm, which was perfect!) Highly recommend your arrival to be BEFORE dusk as finding ANYTHING after dark in CR is a little more challenging! During the day is an easier experience! (Marco's directions were spot on..... but in the day light we would have seen the landmarks MUCH easier!) Again, Marco as well as Marina (next door) were a pleasure!! We would certainly come back to this rental if we go back to Tamarindo!

When looking for a place to stay in Tamarindo, Marco's place has it all. From the moment we landed in Liberia and were picked up by Luca, to the moment Luca took us back to the airport, and then stay at the house in between, we could not have been happier. The home is located away from the hustle of the Tamarindo City but close enough to walk within a few minutes, the beach is an extra couple minutes walk but experiencing the town everyday is a lot of fun. The restaurants in the area around Marco's home are friendly, local, and easy to access from Marco's place. The house has everything you need, including the balcony which is a great place to decompress after a relaxing day while occasionally getting to see the monkeys in the trees. Would highly recommend letting Marco set up your ride to and From Casa Tiburon with Luca as he is timely, curteous, knows a lot about the area, and provided great recommendations (plus he showed up with beer - who doesn't appreciate that!) Overall, highly recommend Casa tiburon for a genuine Costa Rican experience!

Marco was great to deal with. His home is as it is advertised. It is a nice, unique place to stay. It was quiet considering how close we were to the heart of the town. I would definitely stay there again if we go back to Tamarindo.

Very well located, host very helpful. No need for a car, everything is walkable from the house. Loved the open patio and kitchen. Howler Monkeys in the surrounding trees were fun to listen to and watch. The place needs landscaping and updating. We liked it but It needed a lot of TLC which would have made it a lot nicer. The razor wire on the fence is a little disconcerting.

I am a professional photographer.
Back in the early '90 I've been sent here in Costa Rica to cover photos reportage of this little known tropical country. Well, I felt immediately in love with the generosity of the nature, the simplicity of the people, the atmosphere of wildness and, of course, the Ocean!
So, it is now 22 years I am living here.
At the moment I'm involved in starting a cocoa plantation. Also experimenting chocolate making and love it.
Life can be sweet.
