The same train also reaches the Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci Airport in less than 1 hour, costing 8€ per person instead of 45-50€ by taxi, bypassing Rome's traffic jam. Then there are buses all the time on Nomentana street (5 minutes walking distance, some 300 mt) and on Viale Libia shopping street (about 100 mt, 2 or 3 minutes walking distance), going to Termini station in 10 minutes time and to piazza San Silvestro (near Fontana di Trevi , piazza di Spagna steps and via del Corso).
YOU CAN SEE US ON THE STREET SHOW !! You can see the apartment on the street show: it is the balcony just over the fruit-seller (who moved some 30 mertes away now), in the building with the green/glass entrance door next to the café.
You'll find in the apt. some complimentary bottles of mineral water, even if the water is drinkable in all the houses in Rome, and all you may need for household use (soap, detergents, washing machine and dish-washer tabs) as well as salt, sugar, olive oil. We only ask you to buy what runs out during your stay, so that everybody finds everything he needs, without having to buy everything at the arrival.
Should you need extra cleaning, a cleaning lady may be called during your stay, at a 8€/hr fee.
A baby bed is available upon request, with bed linen of course.
A 6th single folding bed is available, though we prefer offering a 5 adults availability, for our guests' comfort. No extra charge would be added in case of request.
Air-con is available upon request, at an additional price of 15€ per day. But the apt is not too warm in summertime, and unless you are very sensitive to the heath, you won't need it. It can anyway be asked for at any moment.
If you can't avoid smoking, please do it only on the terrace, after having closed the balcony window. And please don't leave cigarettes in the flower pots.
No pets allowed. Thank you
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT FROM 1st Jan 2011 A TOURIST TAX HAS TO BE ADDED to the price, at every holiday-home, B&B or hotel in Rome. This is 2 € per person per day for the first 10 days only, for every person who is at least 10 years old. We'll have to collect the sum at your arrival.
For us, this apartment had everything we needed for a visitor's everyday life. It is very well equipped, we really appreciated the dishwasher. The balcony with the plants was great to have. Inside, with the balcony doors closed, almost nothing from the traffic was heard. We were four persons in three generations and it was easy for each of us to find an own place to read, work or rest in this home-like apartment. The temperature in the shower is easy to get too hot, be careful with children.
The apartment is well located with good communications to Rome's central parts (Metro Libia and buses from Viale Libia) and direct train connection with Fiumicino airport; all within a few minutes walk. Stores and services we needed are in the close neighbourhood; food stores with wide range of groceries and generous opening hours.
Arabella was great in the communication, making everything work out smoothly and providing a lot of information. We were also well received at arrival.
We can really recommend this apartment.
