I honestly cannot begin to explain how BEAUTIFUL this loft is!!! The view makes you never want to leave! And you can fall asleep to the view and wake up to the view right from the bed (which is incredibly comfortable)!! DJ was so easy with the key transfer and it made our lives so much easier. Fantastic experience. 5 stars for everything!
DJ's apartment is a wonderful place, it worked out great for us and was so much more affordable than a hotel would have been. The place was very clean when we arrived with all the amenities. We had to walk a few blocks for parking sometimes but other than that I had no issues with this place. I would stay here again if I go back go KC!
A beautiful place in a great (website hidden) did a great job to make sure we were happy.
Lots of fun to stay in a downtown loft with a great 4th floor city view. We had everything we needed and some bonuses like snacks! The free on street parking worked. We were always able to find a spot within a couple blocks. Had to laugh every time we used the creakiest elevator ever. Recommend the Blue Room at American Jazz Museum for Monday night jam session. Also, the President Truman Library is worth the short trip to Independence.
My husband and I have recently returned home from a lovely stay at DJ's loft in downtown (website hidden) was easy to work with and very generous. The neighborhood was perfect for us - walking distance to the Sprint Center, where we were headed for a concert. The apartment was clean and well-stocked with toiletries and some snacks (which we took advantage of after an evening out). It's a very comfortable space, and as an added bonus, it has great view of downtown KC. Unfortunately, we had some car trouble while in town, which caused us to have to head home a day (website hidden) was easy to contact about the change of plans and asked if there was anything she could to to help us out, which went above and beyond our expectations. We were definitely sad that we had to leave, but we hope to be able to return again soon!
This loft was in a great area and very convenient to the downtown area and freeways. Fantastic view and a comfortable place to (website hidden) was very accessible and responded quickly to questions. I would definitely stay here again.
I have stayed at Dj's place twice now, and I would totally stay again! Dj is a very considerate host and super easy to contact and communicate with.
About the Host, Dj
I love living in Kansas City where I fill my time with nannying the most amazing 3-year-old little dude and equally stellar 11-month-old "ladybug", acting, singing, and working my catering business: The Acting Chef! Kansas City is one of those over-looked cities, but I'm in love with its strong theater, jazz, art, and sports scenes (even though I'm a loyal Tigers & Cardinals fan). We also hold some of my favorite restaurants ever, yes I LOVE good food. I am very proud of my geek side which is fueled by a love of Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Firefly, Friends and, of course, Big Bang Theory. Although I will often happily take a break from any of that to read, cook or play a game with my lovely friends!
I am excited for you to make my home your temporary home! My dream is to someday have my own Bed&Breakfast in England so being apart of Airbnb is something I truly treasure. It is such an honor to have someone choose your home to stay in and I take that responsibility very seriously. Don't be surprised if you find some homemade treats to welcome you!!
