The room is certainly compact but comfortable with a wardrobe/press, chest of drawers and with a wonderful view over Dublin to the Wicklow Mountains from your bed. All linen and towels are provided.
You will enjoy magnificent views from the every room in the 10th floor appartment which floods with light from floor to ceiling windows. The property is situated in a secure apartment block with concierge service 24/7 and elevator.

Interaction with Guests
I like to interact with my guests and love to see them having a good time in and around Dublin and hear how stuff went. However, I would hope that they were independent travellers as I am busy around doing stuff and working or getting some quiet time and would respect their privacy and space and hope that would be reciprocal
DUBLIN CITY CENTRE is within easy walking distance along the LIffey Quays. Supermarket, Coffee shop, restaurant, pizzeria, pub, medical centre, cinema and LUAS are 1 min away from the apartment. Walk to all the major attractions in Dublin including Temple Bar, Trinity College, the Guiness Factory, Jamiesons Brewery and Grafton Street or jump on the luas (tram) or the open top bus which are both only 200m away and explore further afield.
Luas Tram 50m
747 Airport Bus Stop 5 mins walk
Mainline Train Stations 5 mins by tram
I am not so much into having an internal code of conduct. Plus, I believe the airbnb website is based on mutual respect. So that even if I have nice furniture which I am happy to let you enjoy, i just ask in return not to damage it and keep the place in the same state as you found it. Please keep your own valuables and effects in your room and not left around the place. Of course you are welcome to put all your food in the fridge and kitchen cupboards etc. Please wash your stuff up pretty soon after using it - so its not left around in the kitchen (especially not overnight) Smoking not allowed in doors but there is a covered balcony with cafe style chair and table to smoke outdoors if you need. Please no guests allowed to visit (even if they are your friends) prior to my approval: if you want guests to stay over then please note there is another guest room available to book through air bnb as usual. I am often out of town for many days at a time, and operate on a trust basis, so that people can feel at home. Please note that I have two rooms for rent on air bnb so there might be someone else around (always vetted myself and air bnb of course)

Such a great Airbnb experience!
I've spent 1 month at Alison's place, and everything was simply PERFECT!
If they would ever write a profile for the ideal Airbnb host, well they should definitely refer to Alison. She is simply amazing, super nice, always available to give you tips about the city, the cool things that are happening around, or just for a warm chat. She is very open and will make you feel at home since the first moment in which you enter her house.
Alison's place is very cozy, modern and in a perfect location. From there you can easily walk to all the main landmarks; moreover you can find several good restaurants and a couple of traditional irish pubs just behind the corner.
The fantastic view that you can enjoy from the apartment (10th floor!) deserves a special mention: it definitely contribute to make your time in Dublin an unforgettable experience.
Alison was a wonderful host. She made me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived until I left. She was very relaxed about me coming and going as I pleased. She allowed me to help myself to her kitchen and utilities without hesitation. She was so helpful in recommending things to eat, places to see, and things to do. The room was clean, well furnished, and very comfortable. The location was amazingly convenient to everything including public transportation, and great food if you're too tired to venture out too far. If I ever visit Dublin again Alison would be the first person I would want to stay with again. I personally feel like that not only did I gain new experiences during my visit, but a new friend as well.
The host was wonderful! Alison, was informative about the area and responded promptly when I had questions. The area Smithfield is right off the Luas red line which makes it easy to travel into central Dublin. And you are walking distance from restaurants, grocery stores and amazing historical landmarks.
I really enjoyed staying at Alison's apartment! It was a beautiful, large space and in a great location. It's in an area where many locals live, so you get a very local feeling. It's not a long walk to anything -- and if you want to stay close at times, there are a number of amenities nearby. Alison also has lots of great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. Thanks Alison!
This warm house with grate view is located near the red line train station, can easy to reach, rise your head to see the tower, and it is just aside opposite that tower across the walk street.
The host Alison is a nice host to me, she provide the whole relexed feeling for me.
The most improtant thing is about the great view, you can see the whole city in your room. Very nice.
Great. Alison is a wonderful host. Her apartment is fantastic and she gives excellent advice about the local area

I am a dentist working in Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. I am English and moved to this wonderful city 7 years ago so I know it pretty well by now. I also have a home in Turkey and travel there as often as I can to pick up some sun....although the weather in ireland is better than its reputation suggests and I have very many sunny mornings drinking coffee on my balcony with great views as far as the Wicklow Mountains and the Dublin coastline
I love to travel and when I am visiting somewhere - I prefer to spend time getting to really know somewhere rather than passing though it, and Dublin certainly deserves more than a passing visit and has a lot more to offer than Temple Bar and the Guiness Factory!
I speak Spanish fluently, have a smattering of french, german and turkish - but I can usually find a way to communicate and connect with people wherever I am in the world. I enjoy live music, theatre and film. I am happy wandering or traveling alone - but also love to spend time with my dear friends and meeting new people.
I can't live without good coffee, an internet connection, my dearest friends and family ...... and the freedom to travel and get away from all of the above from time to time ;)
I enjoy traveling including planning trips as often as possible - but once I am away I try to be spontaneous and flexible and take things as they come.....whats's it like to have me as a guest........well hassle free I hope;)
....what's it like to stay at my place - well I would say its relaxed and easy going, with as much or as little conversation and privacy as you choose....
