Interaction with Guests
I'm a very casual and person and always respect my guests need for privacy.
Thank you Lori! Your cabin was so lovely and cozy and the view was spectacular. It was such a perfect weekend getaway. Thank you for such wonderful hospitality. And I already miss Hunter :)
I'll be back!
I'll make it simple:
1. This place is incredible. Not only is the listing accurate, I would argue it doesn't do it complete justice.
2. Lori is awesome, friendly and helpful.
3. We will betake.
Had an excellent stay at Lori's cabin! She was there to get us settled and great about the fact that we got there about two hours later than planned. The rest of the trip we were able to do our own thing but Lori made sure we knew how to reach her if we needed anything. Thank you Lori! I definitely plan to return :)
We had a fantastic stay in Bend - Lori's little Cowgirl Cabin was a sweet sanctuary for both human and dog! Loved that we had our own small kitchen, front porch to chill in the evening and great access to downtown and the land further out. Clean, comfortable, quiet and beautiful - thanks Lori and Hunter!
I had the best time on my one, super relaxing night on Lori's Cowgirl Cabin! I booked last minute, for a restful night during a climbing trip, and Lori was very responsive and communicative about helping me get there. She also welcomed me and my little pup upon arrival to help us get settled.
The cabin is just the right thing for a visit to Central Oregon. It is cozy, intimate and has thoughtful western decor that fits right in with the ranch itself. You can lift the shades on the doors and let a room fun of south facing sun in while you putter around and make coffee.
And get back in bed a listen to horses neigh nearby.
The yard was fabulous for my pup, who LOVE zipping around the yard with "Hunter" the sweet brown amber eyed cattle dog. It was so fun to watch them play while visiting with Lori and hearing about exciting plans for the ranch.
I will definitely visit Lori's sweet Central Oregon cabin again.
Cowgirl Cabin was a perfect and cozy retreat for our central OR getaway. And Lori - and Hunter, her dog - were great hosts! The property itself is beautiful and well-maintained with easy access to Bend (15-20 mins away), downtown Redmond (5 mins away), Smith Rock State Park (20 mins away), and the Painted Hills (1 1/2 hours away). Redmond and Bend offer great eats, breweries, grocery stores, museums, shopping, etc. so it felt like we were close to lots of sights and activity but with all the perks of a private-feeling, country getaway. Lori treated us like good neighbors, giving friendly hellos, talking about the day and anything else but also gave us all the privacy and quiet we needed/wanted. She also left us some eggs from her chickens, which was a wonderful welcoming gift! We were able to bring our little chihuahua with us and he enjoyed the big open yard and made good friends with Hunter, Lori's dog. All in all, great stay and we'll be planning our trip back soon!

I truly enjoy all of life's adventures, including trail riding, traveling to developing countries, raising veggies and caring for my two lovely horses, Twinkie and Happy.
Life is enriched when you're with friends, old and new. I'm looking forward to opening my home, heart and farm to those who share my passion for nature, wine and horses.
Hope to see you soon.
