The third bedroom is being offered as a walk-in closet and all rooms have been freshly painted. Hard wood flooring all throughout the house.
It's located in a safe area close to various schools, libraries, parks and playgrounds. It's also conveniently located close to shopping centers, grocery stores, restaurants etc. (Wawa around the corner)
An easy access to the downtown center city of Philadelphia with only a 20 minute ride via public transportation is also available. The Septa trolley stop is only two blocks away from the door.

The Neighborhood

I personally like the easy transporting to the city and enjoy the peace of mind when I do my homework study in this house.
Out for a run in the mornings and after taking a shower.
There is an Irish restaurant HIBERNIAN that I like to have my breakfast.
At night I like to talk, eat with my friends on the patio where we can have a campfire and enjoy the rich scent stove.
Also, couple blocks from the station is a WAWA and at front a super fresh food grocery.

  • Sheyla's house is very comfortable to live, you can find everything you need to use during a short or long time stay, such as all kinds of cookers, towels and (website hidden) is very kind of her to provide us some fruit and food to cook. She is a very nice person, (website hidden) friends and I had a very good time there.

  • The rental house is in a nice area and for the price it was a great place to stay, about 20 mins from downtown Philadelphia. Comfy beds and the A/C units were a big plus. Kitchen and bathroom were both nice and bedrooms were good.
Unfortunately, we cannot recommend our friends to stay here. There is a fire station one street away and the siren is extremely loud. It regularly woke us up in the middle of the night when the siren would go off once, and during the day the siren would go off multiple times in a row. When one is on vacation, an extremely loud siren going off in the middle of the night is something you don't want to be worrying about.
Another smaller thing is that the internet is extremely slow. About 1mbps (tested multiple times). It didn't bother us all that much because we used this rental home primarily for sleeping at night and breakfasts, but the internet speed was panful.
The host was nice, the location is in a nice place and 20 mins from downtown Philadelphia, and the price charged was nice compared to others in the area, but that firehouse siren was really horrible.

  • We stayed at the house for 3 nights. It has a good location. Drivable distends to Nearby towns. And city's. we were with 4 people and had enough room. The house could have been clean better. As specialty the bathroom. Of all the Airbnb's we booked this trip this one was not our favorite. Next time we will probably book another place.

  • I stayed with my family (wife, 2 infants, 2 cats) x 2 weeks until my new place was available to be occupied. This is a townhouse that is split into 2 apartments, you get 1 of the apartments that has a living room, dinning room and kitchen on the 1st floor and 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the 2nd floor. There is a small patio on the front with a grill and chairs. There are window A/C on the 1st floor and 2 of the bedrooms, it was enough for us. there are also ceiling fans and Ketty brought an extra fan that we didn't need to use. The place was clean and nice and everything worked well. There is no washer/dryer but we managed alright. Ketty is very responsive if you need anything. Overall a great experience. The only things was that if you stay x 1 week you pay the weekly rate (lower than the daily rate x 7). But we stayed 2 weeks and instead of getting the weekly rate (x 2 weeks) I got the daily rate x 14 days! I asked Ketty and she said that you only get the weekly rate if you stay 1 week, makes no sense to me. It wasn't a lot of more money, no big deal.

  • Ketty & Sheyla's row home is in a charming neighborhood that I could have easily spent more time exploring. I stayed here with my wife and a couple friends, and there was more than enough room for all of us. We made bacon, eggs, and coffee each morning in the kitchen, and curled up on the couches to watch Jurassic Park at night. If we'd been able to stay longer, we surely would have fired up the grill and enjoyed the yard as well. All in all it was quite nice!

  • This is the worst travelling experience ever. The host put the key in the wrong place, more importantly, I cannot get in touch with the host during that moment, because Ketty is out of country. Try to imagine, I had to find an hotel in the middle of cod night with a 3-month baby and a Senior. We were very exhauseted when arriving the hotel. My baby got really fussy and caught cold that night.
In order to control the expense, I chose to stay the other night at Ketty's place. But 20 minutes were spent to open the door with the keys. Although these accidents were not intended by the host, I believe, still this is the most unhappy travelling ever! I did get some reimburesement from Airbnb afterwards, but overall it exceeds my original budget.

  • I booked this fairly last minute, and was very pleased with the prompt communication. Our trip was great. It is always nice to have a full home to relax in. The house is very comfortabe, and having a place to park every night was a huge help too. The location is good for exploring Philly and the surrounding areas. Thanks Ketty & Sheyla!

  • Ketty & Sheyla Demasi's house was very sweet. We felt like home when we stay there. We did not experience any problems during the check-in and check out procedure. Every device was working perfectly. It is a very good place to stay with four people.

Sometimes in life you find a special friendship, someone who comes into your life sometimes and makes you laugh constantly. I believe that there are many good things in the world that really we shouldnt pass to enjoy in company. Ketty.
