Interaction with guests

I am constantly available through text messages, emails or a phone call, if you have any questions. Check out the guidebook, I have put in every type of nearby business that you could need during your stay, from pharmacy to groceries to cafes and good restaurants, and the neighborhood pool.

The neighborhood

The Plateau is THE neighbourhood in Montreal. Formerly a working class neighbourhood, it has become quite revitalized during the last 20 years. Rents have skyrocketed, and trendy, creative businesses bloom, centered around Mt-Royal avenue (one block north). In the summer, lots of trees and bike paths make this area cool and easy to get around.

Getting around

There is a bus stop on the near corner, buses run on Mt. Royal and Rachel avenue frequently, headed downtown or to the nearby Mt-Royal metro station. A BIXI stand is right on the corner. For 7$ a day, you can take bikes as often as you want for 20 or 30 minute periods.

This place is incredible. Perfect location right by the park with tons of great bars and restaurants in the area. Francois was super accommodating, check-in/check-out couldn't be easier. Looking forward to staying here again next time I make a visit to Montreal.

Francois saved the day! We were having a tough time finding a place in Montreal and Francois was kind enough to be flexible with our travel plans. We are so happy that it worked out since his place was perfect. The only downside was a lack of outdoor space, but the interior and the location easily made up for it. The street was quiet and the Plateau was amazing. We walked everywhere we wanted and only took a cab twice. Although we didn't use them, the Bixi bikes were right out front as well. Francois was nice enough to put together a map of his favorite local spots and he was spot on! We will definitely be returning to Montreal and we wouldn't think twice about booking with Francois again.

This trendy, perfectly situated loft and it's host, Francois are easy to get along with. The artfully designed and quaintness of the place makes you want to stay and enjoy indoors but the location of the home puts you right in the location of many awesome bars, shops, food/drink and the metro. The home offers many amenities as does Francois with his knowledge of the area to point you in the direction of your pleasure. Loved every day we stayed!

Francois was great to deal with via Email. Didn't get to meet him but everything was in order, no hiccups. The apartment was clean and well equipped, spacious, and had a lot of nice art on the walls. It's in a fantastic quiet Plateau location, just a 5 minute walk to Mont-Royal metro station in one direction or Parc La Fontaine in another. Overall, highly recommended, though one caveat is that the mattress was a bit squishy for me, I prefer a very firm one, but that's minor and probably doesn't apply to most people.

The apartment was everything it was advertised to be. Roomy, bright and very clean. The location was excellent too and although on a busy corner, was surprisingly quiet. The host was very helpful, even though we did not cross paths. He communicated with us several times before our arrival and left us his contact if there was any difficulties while we were there, which there were not. I would highly recommend this loft and would consider returning there again. Excellent find.

Beautiful, spacious apartment in a wonderful part of Montreal. Spotlessly clean. The host, Francois, who we sadly did not get to meet as he was out of town, was prompt, pleasant and helpful in all his communications. Highly recommended!

Hi! I'm brand new to this service! I'm an elementary school teacher in Montréal and also an artist. Although I grew up in this area, I lived in Ontario for many years and I am fluently bilingual. I play waterpolo with both the McGill and the downtown (ACC) teams. Aside from teaching, I'm also a graduate student (part-time) at McGill, one year away from graduating. I'm a friendly and funny guy, and am happy to let you experience life on the plateau in my cozy place.
