We had a wonderful stay at Jacqueline's place with beautiful view of St.Michel mountain in front of the house and good rest. The house is clean, cozy, equipped with good tast of furnitures, basic things like towels, shower gel, hair dryer etc. for travellers and families. She cooks own breakfast for us. Regardless of strike at Saint Michel, we enjoyed our time there.
The downside is that we cannot cook. using kitchen facilities is not allowed.
We really enjoyed our stay with Jacqueline as she made us feel very welcome. Her B&B is very comfortable and guests have the use of a great guest lounge. This property is ideal for visiting Mont St Michel and the daily travels of the cows and sheep is fun to watch. Jacqueline also cooked us a most delicious dinner.
Very accurate listing, Jacqueline was more than kind and accommodating. Had a fantastic experience in Pontorson. It really is quite close to Mont St. Michel.
The house should be a typical French country house, really cozy and lovely; it's also close to Mont St.Michel and good spots nearby. Jacqueline and Jim are friendly and easy to communicate. All in all, it's a nice place and highly recommendated.
Our experience at Maison du Montitiers was excellent! The furnishings were comfortable and Jacquie went out of the way to procure two fans for the bedrooms during unseasonably hot weather (35C)-- much appreciated! The meal she made for us the night of our arrival was tasty and full of local flavored, and paired with perfect cheeses and wine. Seeing the sheep come in from the pasture gave our family of four another taste of the local flavor. She remembered our daughter's nut allergy, which was so appreciated. Jim was delightful. Recommendations for local restaurants were great too. Perfect sport for touring "Le Mont" and the environs. Highly recommended!
Jacqueline was gracious, friendly, and informative. Wonderful location and both rooms were perfect for our two families.
We had an absolutely amazing time at Jacqueline and Jimmy's place near Mont St Michel. It was such a relaxing atmosphere and Jacqueline was a very accommodating and friendly host, even through our mix ups. I'd love to be back sometime! The rooms were very comfortable and well laid out. Everything looked picture perfect!

About the Host, Jacqueline
We originally bought the house as a holliday home, but the more we came the more we fell in love with the place, so decided to retire early and enjoy a simpler way of life. on paper that sounds great , but in reality, we soon became board, after a lady came to the door for help, in finding some where to stay, it struck me that maby i coud offer bed and breakfast stays? id worked with people all my life, and run my own hair and beauty buisness for 21 years, and thats how it started, and i absolutly love it, meeting people from all over the world, all walks of life, and would not change a thing.
