Truly the first & best experience for me in Miami was staying here. I am an Indian, had just moved to Miami a while back for higher studies, was staying at a hotel so decided to stay at a less expensive place, till I find a place of my own & hence this place.
Exactly the same place as described, very close to UM & ohh! that bed, most comfortable bed ( a little small in length but worked fine for me!)
It has everything you need, Books, & lots of books! A microwave, a small fridge just outside the door, he lends his bicycle for free. I sat once with him in the evening while he was 'jammimg', yes he plays Guitar in a band & sings too & pretty awesome at that! Chris is great company too! They made me feel like home, & gave me full privacy!
All in all a great experience & one of my first friends in Miami!
Staying at Michael's place was great! It was just like in the pictures. The place is clean and very comfortable. The room is air conditioned, you have your own private bathroom and wifi. And it's in a great location. Michael was very accommodating, even helped me bring some stuff inside. He was very communicative and made my stay there very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in town!
Michael was a fantastic host. I stayed at his place for a week while attending a writing residency at the University of Miami, and would definitely stay again. He was not only generous with his time and his home, but also his story, all the while, being very respectful of the space I needed to concentrate on my writing. Michael also lent me a bike which I happily used all week, left coffee outside my door in the mornings, and let me do laundry when I started running out of clean clothes at the end of the week! He was also very considerate whenever he was running errands, offering to take me to get groceries or drop me off at a different spot in town if it was along the way.
The neighbourhood is also lovely - I felt very safe walking and biking around, even late at night. Finally, there is a microwave in the room, and a mini-fridge right outside so I was able to prepare food and tea for myself which was useful. And the bathroom (which is all yours) had a closet so I was also able to organize myself which helped make me feel comfortable and at home.
I had a great time at Michael's. The place is very clean, quiet and comfortable. Michael is very gracious and welcoming. Any guest would love to stay here to enjoy Miami. It was close to south miami and close to little Havana. Michael even had lots of restaurant and nightlife recommendations!
Michael and Christ are really nice and friendly. The room is comfortable and clean, and just like my home. And it's near the sunset district, so that makes it really convenient to stay there.
I enjoyed my stay at Michael and Chris's. They were friendly and welcoming and Michael very kindly got up early to drop me at the train station on my last day. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet and it was an easy walk into town. I would stay here again (:
I enjoyed, my stay at Michael's place. He was a great host and I dearly appreciated that he let me borrow his bike so I could get to destination faster!
The neighborhood was very nice and I felt safe.
Thanks Michael for all your kindness!
