Interaction with Guests
We look forward to meeting and greeting all our guests - and to respecting your privacy.
Our home is located in a beautiful residential neighborhood. Safe and quiet for walking and exploring - and so close to everything you'd want - movies, restaurants, night spots.
Public buses stop at the end of the street and the Metrorail is a 10-15 min. walk
No smoking inside.
Although Michael and wife were not home, they took care I could get in. Very friendly people! Their place has a very "positive vibe". The room was spacious with a desk, good wifi/ethernet line, fan, airco and shower/toilet. The only drawback is I found the room a bit dark, but this might not be a problem for somebody else. Although I didn't use it, there is a metrorail connection you can get to by bus or walk (20 min). Much better than traffic jam prone roads and parking fees. You can sit outside on a porch.
Small but exceptionally well appointed room and bath. Michael was a warm and gracious host -- serves a fabulous breakfast coffee. I would definitely stay here again.
The area was very quiet and the location was convenient for easy access to US 1 and public transport. The room was small and cluttered and although it is not suited to self catering, it does benefit from a large shower in the private ensuite bathroom. Michael was an excellent host and I would recommend this room to any individual traveler looking for a tranquil stay in an otherwise hectic metropolis.
Michael and his family live in a lovely part of Miami, totally residential and yet a 20 minute walk to a large shopping center or a quick drive.
My room was neat and clean with a small refrigerator and microwave...perfect for my simple needs. A nice private bathroom was within the room. Wifi was great. Couldn't ask for anything more.
I had two conversations with Michael...a soft spoken, generous fellow who is clearly making the world a better place by his many activities.
I'd love to come back one day.
I had a amazing time staying at Michael's place. The place was nice, quiet and clean. Although, the house is a good 20 min walk from the metro station, but Michael helps by offering bikes for use and even offers rides. I would again stay if I visit Miami.
Michael and his family were wonderful! They responded to any questions I had very quickly, and they were so hospitable. We even had dinner together one night, which was very nice. The room is very private, cheerful, and clean. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood, but walking distance to the South Miami metro stop. I borrowed a bike while I was there which was both fun and convenient. I loved this stay. It was one of the best experiences I've had through airbnb.
